The Space:

A World Apart Villa is located within beautiful Palmas del Mar Resort in Humacao, Puerto Rico, one of the island's premier resort communities. This spacious villa comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and features Caribbean-style décor, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a private rooftop terrace with new furniture, a gas BBQ, imported Italian tile, and beautiful pool and ocean views. Enjoy all the amenities of Palmas del Mar while relaxing in the comfort of A World Apart.



IMPORTANT NOTE: THE CRESCENT COVE CONDOMINIUM IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND EXTERIOR PAINTING. YOU MAY SEE MACHINERY AND WORK CREWS DURING YOUR STAY. THE PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED BY SUMMER 2026.



ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN THE "CRESCENT COVE" COMMUNITY. BUILDINGS HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 3 FLOORS AND DO NOT HAVE ELEVATORS. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS IF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR GROUP HAS MOBILITY LIMITATIONS.



SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



The 2nd floor features the primary bedroom with 1 king bed, flat-screen TV, pool views, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a bidet.



Also on the 2nd floor is the second bedroom with 2 twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom.



The 3rd floor features the third bedroom with 1 king bed, TV, private bathroom, and direct access to the private rooftop terrace with beautiful ocean views.



All bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and individual air conditioning.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY)



We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.



KITCHEN



The kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and all basic cookware and dinnerware needed for your stay. A washer and dryer are also available.



LIVING AREAS



The open-concept main level connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Enjoy a dining table for 6, additional counter seating, and beautiful views of the pool and Caribbean Ocean from the living room.



GETTING AROUND & PARKING



The property includes parking for up to two (2) cars or golf carts.



A car is recommended for getting around the resort and the surrounding areas, as Ubers are rarely available.



If you'd like to rent a golf cart for easy access around Palmas del Mar, we can provide contact information for on-site rental companies.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS: Exceptions to the no-pet policy are made strictly for EMS Pets. If you are traveling with an emotional support pet, you must inform this prior to booking and present the proper documentation. The community requires this documentation as they require them to be registered prior to arrival. An additional $150 cleaning fee could be charged. Please reach out to us before booking for more details.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
