This private woodland retreat with sparkling views of the water from the backyard patio, the living room and kitchen. Enveloped by trees with a huge yard - this cottage is an ideal year-round getaway for large families. From fall to spring, it is also the model host for yoga and team-building retreats.

INSIDE:
Spacious kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favorite dishes. There's a large pantry so you will have lots of room to store all your foods! A countertop bar with 4 barstools and small dining table which seats 4 in the kitchen with views of the lake. Everyone will enjoy helping! And there's another dining area that seats 6.
Gather in the Great Room to play games or tell tales in front of the fireplace! There's lots of seating in the living area and a large Smart TV for rainy nights when it's time for popcorn and a movie!
Downstairs there's another large screen TV with electric fireplace - great place to watch the game or watch a movie. Or maybe shoot a game of pool while enjoying your favorite bevy.

OUTSIDE:
Everyone will love paddling out on the kayaks, playing games in the large backyard, kids will revel in the huge sandbox or bring a net for some badminton/volleyball. BBQ up some steaks on the BBQ under a covered deck (which you'll appreciate if it's raining). Personally I savor quiet time on the sunset deck. In the evening, enjoy the fire pit with s'mores under the stars. Life can't get better than that!
And no need to leave your dog behind we know pets are family

NOTE: Lake Access is a a rolling hill entrance. Lots of beach this year-2025
The water can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Even if it's stoney…it's fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

EXTRA'S: include Wi-Fi, upstairs TV has an Amazon Firestick, Air Conditioning, dishwasher, wood and electric fireplaces, pool table and wet bar, wine fridge, propane BBQ and firepit. We've also included 2 kayaks and a youth paddleboard and some bikes

Parking is limited to 6 vehicles
Max 2 well behaved dogs are allowed

Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max occupancy at all times is 14, violation will result in removal without refund.

Clan Gregor Square is the heart of our quaint community where many local festivals/carshows and you won't want to miss the farmers market in season. Pioneer Park is another local favorite—kids will love cooling down at the splash pad. There's always something happening here, whether it's morning yoga or artists painting the sunset.

You're just 5 minutes from the Bluewater Golf Club. We're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, including Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery and Bad Apple Brewing Co. With wooded trails, scenic country vistas and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season.
