Adorable house tastefully decorated with coastal theme and full of character. Very cozy and conveniently located to everything. Beds were very comfortable. We ate out the entire time but kitchen seemed to be sufficiently stocked should we needed to have cooked. We did worry about street noise since house is located close to the corner but it was not an issue, especially upstairs. Would definitely rent again.

This adorable cottage close to the beach had everything we needed for a perfect stay in Galveston! It was Clean, very close to the beach, and had an adorable front porch and back deck with plenty of space to relax in the beautiful weather. The beds were so comfy, and the host was friendly. We loved it!

The Coastal Cottage is convenient to anything you want to do in Galveston. We enjoyed how quiet it was at night, and it’s easily walkable to the beach. The back yard is private and the parking out front worked well. We addressed a couple of issues with our host that had no bearing on our review. Would love to stay again if in the area, and thought it was a great charming spot!

We adored this cottage. It was very close to the beach and easily navigable to all areas of interest. We had a snafu with the hot water nozzle in a bathroom and the rectified it immediately. I would very much stay here again. Galveston was so much fun!

We loved it

We really enjoyed the house. Decent neighborhood and really close to the beach and the pier. It is an older house but its cozy and has all you need. We had an issue with the downstairs shower head not working but it didnt bother us we just showered upstairs. The front door has a big glass window with nothing covering it and while i didnt love that i rigged a towel up on it. We would absolutely book here again.

This is the most perfect bungalow in Galveston! The house is even cuter in person. Incredibly clean and decorated to give you the perfect chill beach vacation vibes. Beds were super comfy, AC was nice and cold at night. The back porch was a great hangout spot.The location is also very convenient.It’s in a nice neighborhood and a prime spot to walk to the beach and still close to the pleasure pier and Murdochs. We have stayed at a lot of places and this house is definitely everyone’s favorite. We plan on staying here again next trip!

Cozy little home-away-from-home!

This cozy little 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage is such a nice upgrade from the one-bedroom condo we normally rent in Galveston. It is nicely decorated, well appointed, and close to everything. We loved having two outdoor options for lounging, the porch swings on the front porch and the big seating areas on the back porch. The lovely trees, beautiful landscaping, and outdoor fans made it a fun place to hang out, despite the Texas heat! We didn't have to fight for parking or hear the neighbors since it is a stand-alone house, and it felt spacious. We were very pleased with how comfortable we were; it felt like a home rather than a hotel.

Home Away From Home

The house is a little bit of history, from the original flooring, beautiful curated fixtures, photos on the wall that paint a picture of the home. It was like walking into home, they have everything you could need to cook or make meals which is not always typical. The yard was fun, our young family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I just wish we had thought to baby proof we had to borrow a baby gate, definitely didn’t read that part of the listing. Very suitable for older children.

Adorable cottage

Traveled with my elderly parents for a week long get away. The cottage is adorably decorated and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to extra linens, etc. It is a short 5 block walk to the beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. When I needed to communicate with the host they were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little hideaway!

We absolutely loved our stay! This rental was everything we were looking for—cozy, quiet, and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Strand, yet still close enough to the beach that we could ride our scooters over with ease. The home was super cute, thoughtfully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. We also felt very safe, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The only minor issue we encountered was that the upstairs stayed a bit warmer than expected, but it wasn’t a problem for my daughter. We also noticed a flea issue, which we’ve made the owners aware of, and we’re confident they’ll address it quickly.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Galveston getaway

This was our second year in a row at this beautiful and charming cottage. So close to the beach. Easy to walk to wonderful locations. So very clean and maintained. Communication was easy and fast on reply. We will be back again for sure! Don't pass up given the opportunity to stay!
