An entire wall of the living room opens up to the patio where you can begin each morning with freshly brewed coffee as you watch surfers through the palm trees of the backyard. When you’re not exploring the beaches, restaurants, or neighboring cities and destinations, utilize the 2 putting greens or gas grill in the private backyard.

Views were amazing. The folding doors opened the whole house to spectacular vistas. The property was well equipped and included a full array of beach accessories. Check in and out was seamless. Communication with owner was thoughtful, timely and appreciated.

Peaceful Getaway

Our stay was wonderful and the view was amazing. The place had everything we needed and the location was perfect. The proximity to the beach was a five minute walk and a ten minute walk to the harbor. You could enjoy the views of the ocean day and night and the accordion doors allows you to bring the outside in. After spending long days at the beach, we were able to enjoy a rinse in their amazing shower. Mike and Roberta were great hosts and super responsive.

Great Spot

We moved away from the Oceanside area so we were glad to come back for a vacation at a familiar, local place. Can't beat the views and the old-school beach bungalow style.

Beautiful home, wonderful views, 5 min walk to beach. We stayed during the Christmas holidays. We enjoy going to the beach in the winter. It's less crowded. Home had all the amenities. We like to cook and the kitchen supplied everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, too. All in all, a great little vacation.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay. That a beautiful property. My 81 year old husband couldn't do a lot of walking so we just enjoyed sitting on the patio. Host was super. Can't say enough good about it.

Overall had a superb stay and would definitely stay again. Pros: - Very short walk to the beach + beach accessories - Backyard putting greens - Deck and bifold doors for ocean breeze air - Lots within walking distance - Smooth process for logistics Cons: - Parking is pretty close, though have to daily renew the ticket. - Street facing rooms a bit noisy for street noise - Internet was good, though not stellar

Great Property

Beautiful location and wonderful home. Great view of the beach and a 3 minute walk to the sand. Just enough above to avoid the crowds of people walking by on the Strand the whole time. You can hear the ocean the whole time if you open the doors/windows. The deck and backyard are fantastic. I would rent this home again!

AMAZING

This property is a diamond in the ruff. If you blink your eyes, you will drive right passed it! The property is clean, spacious, yet cozy, and has amazing views of the ocean. The property boasts a beautiful outdoor space with an area to hang out and to play a little golf. The property owners left fantastic directions and were there if needed at any time. This is a must if you are in Oceanside!

Perfect Home for Our Getaway!

We rented this home for a "girls" getaway, we have been traveling together for 30 plus years many times to the San Diego area, specifically Oceanside on several occasions. This home was perfect for our gathering. It was comfortable and welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. The furnishings are lovely, bedrooms large, the chef's kitchen has everything we needed plus a large variety of coffee makers. The view was unbeatable over lush landscaping to the beach. We sat for hours watching dolphins play and surfers aplenty. The home is walking distance to the pier, Farmer's Market, many restaurants and the harbor area.The owner was especially responsive assuring anything we needed was available to us.We all agreed we would rent this home again and look forward to returning one day!

What a perfect place to stay when looking for a beach house in SoCal. The owners thought of everything. The pictures and description did a good job of describing the property, but they do not do it justice. You have to rent and stay there to really see how great it is. Literally see and hear the waves crashing on the beach, and feel the ocean breeze through the open back accordion door. Any future visits to SoCal will be planned around this house availability. If you're looking and still trying to decide, just book it. You won't regret it!

View is exceptional!

This home is very comfortable. Our host checked in at the beginning of our stay and offered easy access to reach him should we need anything. Kitchen well equipped. The opened wall of window/ doors onto the back patio is the real winner. Not highlighted in the pics is the cool two level mini golf “course” just below that patio area. The parking lot is just across from the property. The walk to the beach takes maybe 2 minutes! Nothing negative here!

Perfect!

This house has everything including a spectacular view! The accordion windows are a special touch. It is the perfect beach house, expertly decorated and very clean. We loved the miniature golf course ... didn't even notice that when we booked. The walk to the beach was even easier than I thought it would be ... given it is located on a hill. The owners are wonderful, and they were very eager to make sure we had a great stay. If there is a downside, it's the lack of parking, but that's not a reflection on the hosts. You have to get a new parking pass each day at 8am ... at least that's what the sign states. But we are early risers, so no problem there. I highly recommend this home!
