Gabriola Small Suite with Hot Tub

Small suite with private entrance, large screen tv, bathroom and porch within minutes to our village and ferry in a residential neighbourhood. Basic dishes, coffee and tea provided. This is the smaller of two suites available. Shared 5 seater outdoor hot tub available. Register any pets before booking and please and message host if bringing a pet before booking. There are three units total in the house and there may be sounds from other units at times.

Don't leave pets alone in suite. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Guest is responsible for removing pet hair from bedding.

The room was clean; the owner was quick to communicate and easy to work with. This space was exactly what we needed for a quick visit. Our only hang up was there was no airflow in the room with the door closed so we had to turn on the heat/fans to make the sheets not feel moist. Minor inconvenience all things considered. Coffee and mini fridge were a welcome perk for sure!

Comfortable and clean

The room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the host was quite friendly. The ensuite washroom is small but adequate. The home is about 6 years old and in excellent condition. There is a limited number of accommodations on Gabriola Island and we were happy. We chose this one. There was an outdoor hot tub available however we didn’t use it. We would stay here again should we visit the island in the future

Great little get-away place

I stayed here on a weekend get-away with a girlfriend and it was lovely! The breakfast provided was delicious, and Chrissy was very prompt with her communication. The deck for morning coffee and the hot tub for nightly relaxation was the cherry on top. I would definitely stay here again!

Very lovely space. Clean and everything you could need. Would recommend. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub as my toddler was with me, but maybe next time.

Excellent Choice

Chrissy's place is so nice! It's a small space but perfect for two people for a weekend away. The hot tub is spectacular and food/groceries are just a bike ride away! The space is super clean and the essentials were provided. There is a fridge and a coffee pot so we were set!

This little studio was great for the price. The place was clean and had what we needed for the weekend. The only thing to note was that sounds were quite loud from upstairs.

Escape from the City

Nice clean accommodation, Chrissy was awesome to deal with. Comfortable bed, nice quiet area. It was a great all around stay! The only negative I would give it is that the sound proofing isn’t great but we are both noise sensitive and most people wouldn’t even notice.

From the moment I arrived, I felt elated. The front porch with its bistro table was exactly as pictured and the inside was as well. My suite was clean and cozy. My host was a delight and made each day of my 5 day stay comfortable. Best. Getaway. Ever! Thank you for a magickal visit to Gabriola Island. I will return and most certainly stay here again and again.

Cozy

This is a lovely little room with an outdoor covered porch for sitting, big cupboard to put things out of the way, essentials for picnic-type eating, coffee-maker, kettle, microwave and fridge, updated bathroom (loved the night-light that changed colours!!!) AND a nice touch of TWO suitcase stands!!! How often do you go to stay somewhere that has only one or even no place to put your suitcase!!? Chrissy the hostess was great, and we really enjoyed the chats as well as the wholesome breakfast she brought. It was close to the ferry and shops, but a very quiet neighbourhood.

This property is a small gem. Close to amenities yet the trees give it a private feeling and it is very quiet at night as it is on a no thru road. You will hear birds and possibly see deer. Lots of dog walkers on this road as it is quiet with little traffic.

You will hear more birds than cars in this neighbourhood, you may even see deer or wild turkeys.
