Great view! A lot of room for the entire family to spread out. We really enjoyed getting to see a lot of bears, and even learned more about how they live. The drive up to the cabin is a little intimidating the first time, but you get used to it and it’s a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. We’d definitely stay there again!

The bear cabin

We absolutely love the location and this was our second time staying at this cabin. Love seeing the bears. We saw a momma bear with her two cubs. The only complaint I have is the ceiling fan upstairs making a loud knocking noise. I sleep with the fan on and it was a little hard falling asleep. We had multiple bear sightings everyday.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful with an incredible view ❤️

We loved the hot tub, pool table, equipped Kitchen, washer and dryer, spacious bedrooms and 3 levels to explore. Best of both worlds- out in the woods but yet close to Gatlinburg.

Fall Break Stay

The location of the cabin and cabin itself were fantastic! We had bears come through the property and eat in the trees across the street every day! We had a few issues that came up, but maintenance came out same day to fix. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

Outstanding views!

We were above the clouds, with awesome views of the entire city. At night from the decks and hot tub the whole city was lit up, it looked amazing. We had lots of room to spread out, and every bedroom has those great views. Well stocked kitchen, we like to cook, and the grocery is only a 10 minute drive. It was the best of both...Mountain cabin with lofty views, and a 5 minute drive to the city and about a 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge. There were only 3 of us, but it could comfortably accommodate 3 families with their children. Only recommendation is to have the gas on the fireplaces turned up for more ambiance and some heat.

Great location with beautiful views

Very happy with our stay at Lasting Impressions. The bathrooms were very clean, but the dining area kitchen was still sticky and multiple plates/glasses/mugs were dirty in the cabinets.Water pressure was a bit lower than we prefer, but plenty of hot water for four adults.Fire in both fireplaces was too low to generate any heat.Window treatments on upper windows would be nice - the sun was extremely bright and we couldn't really use the first floor during the late afternoons until the sun set.

Great views!

We had a quick getaway and couldn’t have picked a more perfect cabin. The bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. The bottom floor is perfect for those with kids. They had they’re own living room with a tv. Over all great stay!

We loved it.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Beautiful view, close to downtown Gatlinburg. The only issue we encountered was the bottom floor bathtub was clogged. Chicken was well stocked with pretty much everything you need.

High on the mountain

Beautiful, new cabin, very close and right up the hill from Gatlinburg's attractions. Roads are very steep, and curvy. All the beds are extremely firm. If you plan to cook, bring your own Hot pads and oven mitts, and all condiments. Overall very nice vacation.

LOVED IT

My entire family loved our stay so much, that if work (and lack of milk for the baby) weren’t an issue, we would have tried to extend our stay. We had five adults, a two year old, and a nine month old, and I don’t think a single person had any problems at all. We are all keeping this link for future trips.

Family vacation/spring break

This was a beautiful place to stay. It was clean, there was plenty of room, the view was amazing and the decks and hot tub were so nice. We enjoyed having the gas fireplaces and the leather furniture was very comfortable. Two things to note for future guests would be that the grill is a charcoal grill, not gas and the roads leading up to the cabin and the driveway are very steep! Our mini van did okay in low gear but we had to go very slowly!

Close to everything and yet faraway

This was a great location! We loved the cabin and everything it had to offer. The cabin was about 5 minutes from Gatlinburg and 15 from the national park. But it also felt that it was faraway from everything. Like the reviews prior, we saw bears everyday! The rooms were comfortable and the entertainment was great too. My only suggestion would be have some puzzles or games. They will go a long way for families that want to spend time together.

Wonderful and spacious cabin!

We absolutely loved this cabin! We loved rocking in the chairs on the main level deck and watching the bears!!! It had plenty of room for 3 adult couples to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked for any of our needs. There were plenty of towels. The only slight issue we did run into was our code to get in the door didn’t work. We called the office and they did quickly get us a code that worked. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Pet friendly, but very clean. Great communication with agency . Good location to downtown, grocery store 5 min away . Scenic views. Bears did come out a checked your porch for food everyday. So you have to be diligent on not keeping anything in your vehicles or on the porch. Fun weekend

Secluded bear viewing

Great secluded property with a true cabin feel. We had numerous mother/cub bear sightings during our stay. One was very close with cubs coming on the main entrance porch & pawing at the glass. We got great photos & video. Unit was clean & very relaxing & comfortable. Our 1 year old grandson enjoyed playing on the securely fenced balcony while the adults enjoyed the hot tub & fireplace. Highly recommended. Would return in a heartbeat.
