Welcome to Heras Hideaway, a stunning 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home offering unmatched views of the lake and mountains. Step inside and be greeted by the great room, featuring a charming staircase leading to the loft bedroom with its own bathroom overlooking the space.

On the main level, discover the cozy living room adorned with a gas fireplace and inviting furnishings, followed by a beautiful picnic-style table in the shared dining area. The well-appointed kitchen includes an additional breakfast table and a desk perfect for a convenient office space. Additionally, find a king bedroom with a TV, sharing a bathroom accessible from both the hallway and the bedroom.

The primary bedroom is situated on the lower level, boasting a king bed, a TV, and a sitting area complemented by a cozy fireplace. Step onto the private deck from the master bedroom and be captivated by the mesmerizing views of Lake Glenville. Another bedroom on this level features a queen bed and a TV. Both the primary bedroom and queen bedroom share a spacious bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub, offering stunning views. Notably, this bathroom is accessible from both bedrooms' walk-in closets.

Outside, the deck provides abundant seating, complete with an outdoor dining table and grill, ideal for savoring meals amidst the scenic backdrop. Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.

Everything about our stay was A. The house was as pictured. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals, the beds were very comfortable and the view of the lake was awesome!! We will definitely stay at Heras Hideaway again!

We had a wonderful time at Lake Glenville in this beautiful lake house. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Week on the lake

Our week at heras hideaway was one our family will remember forever. The home was amazing, the view was spectacular. The cabin had plenty of space for our family to relax. It truly felt like home away from home. We look forward to our next visit!

Great Family Getaway

We enjoyed Heras Hideaway. Lots of family time - hiking was close, playing games in the comfortable living room, kitchen was well equipped and lots of room for all six of us. Steep driveway but worth it for the view!!

Wonderful Home

We absolutely loved our stay here. We came to ski, and we chose Cashiers since our kids were 1st timers. The house very close to everything if you want venture out. If you just want to sit around amd relax the house is perfect for that too. The views are stunning, and the house is super comfortable. We had a great time, and we will try to rent this property again next year.

Amazing house and view!

Our family and friends had a fantastic time. SUPER comfortable beds all around! Kitchen was open and large enough for several chefs. We will be back. Most excellent!! Need a large stock pot for soups, etc.

Beautiful home…fantastic views of Lake Glenville!! The only negative was both ovens were not operational….we were able to grill most of our meals.

Wonderful Spot

We stayed here for the proximity to hiking and Glenville Lake. It was a spacious, well decorated house with plenty of amenities. A bag of coffee was awaiting on our arrival. Thank you! Also, sounds machines and black out curtains in every bedroom was so appreciative for our family of six. The view from the back porch is amazing. We spent quite a lot of time out there enjoying the sunshine or occasional rain storm. Really a wonderful place to stay.

Cashiers vacation

The house was excellent except for a malfunctioning wall oven. A little problem with the hills but that the mountains and after all it made the view possible. Loved the area.

Wonderful July Vacation with Family

My entire family enjoyed this beautifully appointed home with a fabulous view. The house is elevated which makes the view even better. We enjoyed the the view and the wonderful cool weather every single minute. The pictures do not do this house justice. The house had everything that we needed. We could have just lived outside on the porch. The outdoor furniture was very comfortable, and there is a very nice table outside for meals. We rented a boat, played golf, hiked, fished and just enjoyed this wonderful house with a perfect view! We hope to return next year.

Hera’s Hideaway

Great location. Mountain View’s and lake views spectacular! Spent most of the time on the back porch. I gave this a 5 for cleanliness. But the toilet seat in the master bath should be replaced. We were called by the property manager about one hour before arrival and was told that the cable was Not working. Also the electrical,outlets didn’t work in the kitchen for the coffee pots. Little inconveniences. Saying all that but knowing that if I ever have an opportunity to get back to Glenville for a stay Hera’s Hideaway is where I will book. Loved everything about it.

Wonderful getaway!

My family had a wonderful weekend at this amazing house. It was only 3 of us (including my son who is 10) and our 2 little pups as our friends couldn’t join at the last minute. But even if they had, there would have been plenty of room. This house and the VIEW is just spectacular. We spent a lot of time snuggled by the fire reading and watching movies. It’s also only a short drive to both Cashiers and Highlands. The house/kitchen also has everything that you might need- very well appointed. We would definitely love to visit again.

Beautiful View and Property

The property is on the SE shore of Lake Glenville and has a spectacular view down the lake. Coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the evening - not a bad way to spend the day. The house is incredibly well appointed and decorated. There can occasionally be a bit of road noise, which seems typical in this area, but the atmosphere is very serene. We will be back!
