Beautiful 2 bedroom condo near the Convention Center and Seacrets

Makai is conveniently located on 42nd Street and the bayfront. Walk to the Convention Center, dining, shops and the beach. The building has two elevators serving all floors, an indoor pool, ground floor lounge with free internet access, fitness center and billiards room. There is a king bed in the master and a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a queen sleep sofa to occupy 6. Guest supplies all linens, towels, paper goods and soaps. For your added convenience, there is a washer and dryer in the unit. An optional linen package is available for purchase for this property and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package would include sheet sets for each bed and towel sets equaling the maximum occupancy of the condo. Condo rents any three nights in season and any two nights off season. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25. Non-smoking/vaping unit, including balcony. No pets, please. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our properties including photos, descriptions, pricing and amenities shown above. Although they are deemed reliable, they cannot be guaranteed.

Nice place to stay in OCMD

This is a nice, clean condo in a good location. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, including the famous Seacrets. Beach access right across the street. Not within walking distance to the boardwalk, but easy enough to get to with Uber or public transportation. Our condo did have hand soap, dish soap and toilet paper on hand. Only negatives were some miscommunication about where we were supposed to check in and as another reviewer stated, the bathtub drain in the non-master bathroom appeared to be stopped up or slow, but we would definitely stay here again.

Location was great Condo was great an clean Lock was VERY hard to use. Brought it up to central reservation and they checked with owner but owner wasn’t very responsive with solution or monetary compensation for the inconvenience. It sometimes took 3+ minutes to lock/unlock the door. You had to out everything down you had in your hands in the hall to operate the lock. Everyone else had keypads with super easy entry. The owner knew about it and tried to give instructions on how to operate but it was NOT EASY. Owner should make entry safe/easy and convenient. Otherwise we did enjoy the place.

Could have been better

The location of this property was great! The indoor pool was great. However the overall experience could have been better. Cleanliness of property - The condo was not thoroughly cleaned Old furniture - The living room furniture was really old and uncomfortable Lack of storage in the kitchen - we had a really difficult time finding a place put away things we brought with us Old TVs - it may be better to update the TVs to smart TVs so those staying there can log into their respective streaming services

Clean but small

Very clean condo but super small. The entry door lock is absolutely ridiculous and difficult to operate. The check in process was super easy. I would not rebook.

Nice condo but needs some updating

The condo is in a great location. There are many awesome restaurants, shopping, and mini golf. It is in walking distance to the beach (across the street). The hallways of the property and billiard area could use some updating (clean floors, paint). The gym is basic, but perfect for what I needed. The pool area was lovely. I loved the garage bay doors that opened to the outside. The condo was nice and had room for our family of 5. However, the couches need to be cleaned or updated. The bathrooms and kitchens were nice and clean. Overall the condo was good. We loved being on the balcony at night with some music and enjoying the bay views!

Needs work

Unit had an odd odor during our stay. We tried to febreeze and nothing worked. The dishwasher silverware holder was broken and didn’t hold silverware, the detergent dispenser didn’t work so the pod wouldn’t dispense until later so it didn’t dissolve. The building needs some cosmetic work, halls are dirty, we had to evacuate twice due to the fire alarms being activated and wait for the fire department to clear the building; while this is out of control of the property was just an annoyance.

A good family trip away

Overall, the property was well-maintained and care was taken to make sure it was clean when we got there. There was some hair in the shower and the couches could use updating but nothing that would be a deal-breaker for me to re-book. The location is great and right on the strip of many OCMD attractions and a very short drive to the Boardwalk. You can even walk across the street a couple blocks to get to the beach.

Fantastic!!

Smooth, easy check in, followed by a great condo & location. Only recommendation would be for a new knob on outside door. It took us a long time to get the door locked/unlocked. Other then that, it was absolutely perfect.

OC Sunfest Weekend

Absolutely loved staying at this property! Perfect location that is close to everything from the boardwalk, to shopping, to restaurants. Loved sitting on the balcony looking out over the bay in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

Pleasantly surprised.

1st time staying bay side. Location actually right along coastal highway..so the walk to the beach minimal. Clean unit. Had everything we needed. Would stay there again and definitely recommend.

Loved Our Stay

The property is in a great location for walking around Ocean City. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants we didn’t need to drive to. The bedrooms were both a good enough size and the property was a perfect size for the three of us. It could easily have fit a family of 5. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip.

Beautiful condo!! The pictures dont lie! It was very clean and spacious. The only negative is the bathroom sink and tub were stopping up.
