Great Condo! Clean and perfect location. Loved our visit here.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week in June and had a great time. The condo is in a good location on the 5th floor overlooking the gulf. It was just high enough to keep the road noise from being an issue but close enough to the beach that you could see everything going on. The condo unit had everything you could need and we were happy there were beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet. Glass Casa had excellent communication with us throughout the process. We didn't have any issues but did have a few questions before arrival and they responded quickly to our text messages.

Excellent location

Pros: -location; beach is an easy walk across the street. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Amazing views from the unit. -condo has had some nice updates -parking is easy and free -communication with management was easy and fast. Unit was even ready several hours early. -laundry in the unit. No issues with the dryer as some other reviews mentioned -beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. were amazing to have provided. We added a skim board to the collection Cons: -this is a very busy building. Walls are thin and it gets very loud early in the morning and late at night. Elevators can get extremely busy, and at least one of them was always out of order. -furniture could use an update. The living room swivel chair is broken, the king bed is very loud with any movement, and the couch could use a replacement. -I’m a fan of white linens, but they were all yellowing and not really white anymore. -patio door doesn’t lock—not a huge issue being on the 5th floor Overall, great place to stay for the price!

Reviewer Comments: Condominium was very nice, well decorated, with all the conveniences. However, the dryer does not function, and could not get the icemaker to work. In addition, Glass Casa is charging for armbands that are for the pool, even though that was not stated anywhere obvious. Again beautiful condominium, but would not recommend this rental company.

Beautifully decorated and a great location

Very impressed with the location of the condo and the interior. The owners have done a great job with updating it. However, the dryer was a disappointment with how many hours it would take to dry a small load of laundry for my husband and I. We would clean out the dryer vent each time but it looks like previous tenants have allowed things to be burned and coated so it never was fully cleaned. The washer has a musty smell that would transfer to our clothes. The king size bed was appreciated, however, it squeaks so bad that you can barely move without making noise. Not sure if it was the mattress, frame, etc. but I would recommend they look into it because that makes for an interesting vacation. The sliding glass door never locked, but that wasn’t a problem for us since we were on the 5th floor so we felt safe. I would definitely recommend this condo to others, regardless of the minor issues mentioned above.

So great, we stayed an extra night!!!

We absolutely loved our stay and will plan on returning. Communication with Property Management was beyond. They literally respond in like 30 secs. The place worked for us as a family of 4. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. The view, the location, it was all perfect. The only suggestion I have is to install a full length mirror somewhere and to add a high door lock so kids can’t go in and out as they please. 🙄 Otherwise, we loved it!!

One week in a rental is a much different experience that 4-10 weeks in a rental. I won’t address the size as it was our own fault that we rented a one bedroom. The kitchen equipment was adequate. We cook a lot and found the unit lacking in large bowls and baking pans. We bought foil disposable pans to serve company. More dish towels and hot pads. We purchased our own and brought them home.

Great location

Loved the balcony with all the chairs and tables, best view of the beach! Beautiful kitchen, clean appliances. They had a standard coffee pot so we brought on our mini Keurig and kcups. They had everything you need in the kitchen, however we did bring our own laundry detergent and dryer sheets for the week…glad we did! I also brought a multi hooked door hanger for my toiletry bag and clothes for the second bathroom, definitely a must. Bed was ok. Not a fan of the spring mattress since we are in our 60’s, so my 5 star rating is actually a 4 star just because of that. It made noise when someone was rolling over, didn’t like that. Other than that, it was great!!!

Vac Destin 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our trip to Destin was very enjoyable. The unit was basically very clean, with a couple exceptions. Dust on top of the refrigerator with place mats and on the ceiling fan blades. The biggest complaint involved the washing machine dryer. Our mistake was not checking the lint vent before washing 3 beach towels. It took approximately 1.5 hrs to dry the towels. After opening the dryer door, it was extremely hot inside. That's when the vent was checked and found to be packed with lint. The vent had 2 sections. The 1st section could be cleaned by hand, but the 2nd section had to be cleaned with a vac of some sort, which we did not have. This was on Monday evening. I called Tuesday morning and reported the dryer issue and that it could be a fire hazard and it needed cleaning. We left Sunday morning and no one had been around to take care of the problem. Needless to say, we were not able to do any laundry. The light under the microwave would not go out and was hot. This was reported at the same time of the dryer issue.

Amazing vacation

Location was great.

The condo was great along with the location. My son broke his ankle within 3 hours of being there(and it rained 3/5 days) so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach/area as much as we hoped. The beach was beautiful to look at it. The store downstairs was nice along with restaurants being close by.

We had an excellent time. The location is excellent and loved seeing the dolphins from our balcony while eating breakfast and drinking coffee. We are already planning our next trip back.

Easy beach access

My family had a great time. We were near everything we needed including restaurants, shopping, and beach. My only issue was cleanliness. The top bunk seemed to have mold growing underneath the top and the mattress was wet the entire time. It took some back and forth for management to get it cleaned the next day but was taken care of. All-in-all, we still made it work and had a great time.
