Surf'n Joey - Luxury one bedroom self contained suite.

We guarantee you will love our luxurious, beautifully appointed, modern 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest accommodation on the lower floor of our stunning beach house. There is ample parking on site, and a separate secure entrance.
The suite consists of a spacious lounge room with large TV, fridge, Nespresso Coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle( Coffee pods, teabags and milk provided) Foxtel, Netflix, and free wifi are also included.
Gorgeous views from every window over Careel Bay, and a cute balcony with a table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee, or perhaps watch the sunset with a complimentary bottle of wine.
The bedroom has a new Queen sized bed, with Eco Down Under linens, and electric blanket. There is ample wardrobe space, his and hers bathrobes, an iron and ironing board.
The ensuite bathroom has a heated towel rail, and underfloor heating available during the winter months. Towels are provided.
The suite is fully airconditioned, although you probably won't need it as we get nice breezes and there are ceiling fans.
The location is a 5 minute drive to Avalon, Whale Beach or Palm Beach.
For those who are unfamiliar with the area, we have a guest book with lots of recommendations for local eateries, casual or more formal, plus information on lovely local walks, activities etc. There are public golf courses at both Palm Beach and Avalon.
Come and enjoy your own taste of paradise. Minimum stay 2 nights.

Wonderful weekend away

Liz is a delightful host and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The property is well-located near Avalon and Palm Beach. Highly recommend booking! We will be coming back again for weekend getaways throughout the year.

Beautiful Whale Beach accommodation

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this beautifully presented accommodation with wonderful views of the Pittwater. Host Liz responded promptly to our booking request and provided helpful information and thoughtful touches including complimentary chilled bottle of wine! We definitely intend to return.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed this well located property to explore the northern beaches. A short walk to Whale Beach and the lovely ocean pool, coffee at the surf club, and lazy days nearby at Palm Beach. Some great restaurants nearby (Palm Beach and Avalon) and lots to do: walks, ferry rides, or just lazing on the beach. Liz was a very accomodating host.

Perfect Location

SurfnJoey was the perfect place for us for a short break. So comfortable and immaculately clean. Liz was so accomodating. Bus stops right outside (every 10 mins) meant we did not use the car. Loved watching the sunset from the balcony. Highly recommend this place 100%

We purchased the property in 2012, demolished the old termite ridden house and rebuilt a stunning 4 bedroom beach house, which we have named Surf'n Joey ( as it is on the corner of Surf and Barrenjoey Roads ). Having both retired, we now live here permanently, and love the lifestyle - there is a great sense of community, and we have made many new friends over the past few years. We walk, swim, cycle and golf, and generally enjoy the beauty of the area, where we wake to Kookaburras or singing cicadas in the summer, and enjoy the beautiful rainbow lorrikeets, and other native birds which live around us.

Surf n'Joey offers a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet is only an hour's drive from the CBD. We are ideally situated close to beaches, all amenities, and for those attending weddings, for example, at Jonah's or Moby Dick's we are just minutes away. Another advantage is that we have a bus stop directly outside our house, so if you fancy a few drinks, and want to go into Avalon, Palm Beach, or even Newport or Mona Vale for dinner, you can just hop on the bus - it's so convenient.
