Experience Island Winds West like never before! Island Winds West 280 boasts coastal sophistication with beachy vibes. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom vacation rental is the perfect place to soak in the sun. When you step in the door the first thing you see is the glowing natural light from the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which lead to the private balcony overlooking the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy the comforts of home all while taking in the gorgeous views form the cozy living room which has a 75 inch smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare a delectable home cooked meal. The dining table has seating for 4 people with additional seating at the bar area.

When it is time to dream of new beach adventures the king bed in the primary bedroom will be awaiting your arrival. The primary bathroom has an updated walk-in shower. There is a full bathroom which is accessed through the hallway that has a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a cozy queen size bed and the third bedroom has full over full bunks. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV .

Island Winds West is located in the heart of Gulf Shores. Walking to events like the Hangout Music Festival and The Annual National Shrimp Festival will be no issue. There is an outdoor gulf front pool and separate child's wading pool. WiFi access is provided as well as an in-unit washer and dryer.

You must be 25 years of age or older to rent this unit and pets are not permitted. This is a non-smoking property.

Payment for parking passes will be collected separately. Once purchased, passes will be picked up from Island Winds East and will be valid for the duration of your stay.

Perfect getaway

This getaway was perfect. Everyone at Young’s was very kind and helpful with any question I had leading up to our stay. The condo was beautiful, clean and spacious. We’ve already booked it again for next year.

Wonderful Stay

Great location. This was a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I enjoyed our vacation. Our only complaint is the dryer. It is very loud. The dryer sounds like the drum needs to be replaced.

The place is very spacious. Pay attention to the details so you know what supplies you might need. Be prepared for a parking fee.

We love it here!

We have stayed in this unit before and we loved it just as much this time as we did in 2022. The view is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. A change this year was being able to pay for parking online ahead of check in. That was so easy and super smooth for check in. We were also traveling during Spring Break so we had to stop at the office to provide my ID. The office was super easy to find and staff was awesome. All in all, we love the location and the ease of walking to the shops, the Hangout, and the best Dollar General EVER!! Thanks Young’s Suncoast for having a great property. We will most definitely be back!!

Lovely condo with beautiful view.

This condo had everything we needed. The decor was lovely. The management company responded immediately when we reported that we had no water. Not the fault of the building…apparently water main work occurring. We would have given a 5 in cleanliness had the furniture, lamps, and glass globes been dusted…pretty thick. Bathrooms were spotless. We were very comfortable during our 10 day stay. This location is so convenient to everything, and the balcony was a wonderful place to view sunrises, sunsets, and crashing waves.

Island winds west 280

The condo is spacious with plenty of sleeping arrangements for 2 families. The bunk room has an additional trundle bed and the living room sofa is a pull-out bed that we weren’t aware of so that was a nice surprise. Loved the views, easy access to the beach and surrounding restaurants & entertainment. My only complaints are: the dryer is horrible and takes FOREVER for a small load to dry, the furnace filter which is easily seen when doing laundry looked as if it hadn’t been changed in years, and the floor was filthy. Our entire family had black covering the bottoms of our feet from just unpacking our bags barefoot (we always take our shoes off at the door). With that said, All of our complaints were small & easy to work around and we would stay again due to the convenience and size of the condo. The beds, showers, and kitchen were all clean which is what really matters to us.

Beautiful view of the gulf!

The condo needed a little extra cleaning, like baseboards and some touch up paint. Also, I much prefer a restroom near the pool and beach to eliminate having to go all the way to the room especially when you have young children. This condo did not provide the restroom on the ground floor. Finally the dryer was very loud and annoying. It worked fine but if you used it at night you couldn’t hear the tv or in the morning you would wake everyone with the noise. However, the condo otherwise was clean and very comfortable for our family. I am only saying these things so others will not be surprised and management will be aware. If my suggestions were taken to heart, I would definitely rent this unit again. We still enjoyed our stay and I have to say it was one of our favorite trips yet to the beach. The weather was beautiful!

Literal Walk on the Beach!

The property was clean. Love that it was an end unit and keyless entry. The decor was beachy, but understated. The internet was spotty, but the view and easy beach access was the reason for the trip and since the weather was sunny and gorgeous, it didn’t really matter. I would rent this property again.
