There are gorgeous markets, out of this world chocolate shops, with cheese and wine tasting handy for those wanting to experience all the Hunter Valley has to offer. Ideal to stay here when attending your favourite band or concert playing in the Hunter.

Beautiful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julie's. It's a perfect distance from all the local attractions and an absolutely stunning and peaceful place to watch the sunset.

A beautiful spot

We had a great stay. Lovely peaceful spot not too far (by car) from the HV action. My only issue, there were no tea bags in the box marked tea.

Quiet and peaceful location- private (above separate garage) Lovely little deck to have a coffee. Personalised bottle of wine was lovely. The whole area is a little sparse for internet/ phone access- but if you are haing an 'escape' it is not an issue. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Loved the atmosphere- loved the place! Book marked for next trip!CLose to shops and coffee!

Excellent location, right in between all the wineries, very clean and well-presented. Great communication and access. Everything you need as a home base. Air-conditioning was fantastic especially as we were there in summer. The ceiling are angled so I was fine but my tall partner at 6'3" hit his head a few times. So for the taller travellers just be aware as it is definitely worth booking!

Comfy and Cosy

Was looking for a quiet place to stay that was self-contained and this loft was ideal. I arrived in the evening, when it was dark and was pleasantly surprised to see the outside area of the property in the daylight hours. It was a great place to return to at the end of the two days I spent at a conference.

Booking was simple , communication was excellent, great little loft on top of garage ,watch your head on way up stairs ,set on a rural property within a stones through of all the hunter has to offer ,the loft is self contained and set up to cater for most things light meals and snacks clean& tidy with very comfy bed ,nice veranda with pool and property views ,nature in abundance at your door ,the pool was very inviting and we thoroughly enjoy our swim ,peaceful and relaxing stay ,thank you Julie

Relaxing getaway

We were a couple with a small poodle looking for a weekend away and Julie's place fully met our expectations. Quiet area, with a pond surrounded by trees, gave us a lovely outlook from a small balcony. It is a short drive to all the wineries and cafes and very close to the brand new large Coles store and a Tavern. The loft was cosy and bright and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in while away. The kitchen fit out is basic, so you can prepare yourself a breakfast but best not to expect to cook up serious meals. Lovely gesture from the hosts to leave some red wine for us to enjoy. We will stay at Julie's again.

Charming and cosy!

We loved our stay, it was so cute and comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony and close to all the wineries. We were also able to bring our dog Charlie who had a wonderful time playing with Bailey the French Bulldog who belonged to Julie our amazing host. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time and weekend.

Hunter Valley stay

Comfortable and cosy loft stay in North Rothbury. Thoughtful touches included a bottle of wine. Beautiful views of the countryside from the verandah. Most enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Great view

Arriving for the late afternoon view of sun through the trees, was lovely to chill out on the small balcony. Comfortable and adequate, the space is fine for a night.

Perfect little loft

Julie was so lovely and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We attended a festival at Hope Estate (12km away) and were able to book a taxi easily to the venue. We also spent a little bit of time walking around the property and met Julie's beautiful horses and very friendly dog Bailey. The locals also were out and about - beautiful big Kangaroos along the driveway of the property. Highly recommend - the loft was thoughtfully presented with lots of special touches!

This is a beautiful quaint little hideaway that gave all the feels of home comfort. It was beautiful and clean, had everything we needed and Julie was great with her communication. Definitely one to revisit it
