Welcome to The Lazy Laurel!
The entire interior is made of gleaming, honey-colored wood, giving it a genuine Smoky Mountains forest feel. The open plan main level features a luxurious living area with a plush leather couch, a beautiful stone fireplace, and a vaulted, cathedral ceiling. There’s also a flat screen TV for entertainment. The combined kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with all the essentials you need to cook gourmet meals or fix quick snacks. The dining table can accommodate four people. The cabin has two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and a smart TV, and its bathroom offers a double vanity with a stone and glass shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and also features a smart TV.

The front of the home offers a fully covered porch, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors even in drizzle or rain. The porch is also home to a bubbling hot tub. This cabin offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway in the Smoky Mountains. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Getting to the cabin at night was not easy. But when we called they got us right to it. Come to find out they left off a entire turn. Need to update the directions. The cabin was clean and well maintained. And the staff was very helpful answering any questions we had. Would stay there again.

Beautifully decorated and peaceful place. Just the quietness needed for reconnection with my inner self and my friend. Great meditation spot. Hot tub was nice. Bed was comfy. And the view was beautiful. The only suggestion I would make is to make sure your sheets fit better, the bottom sheet would NOT stay on. And may be provide a little more coffee supplies. Other than that a wonderful experience and the cabin is beautiful.

Peaceful and quiet

Cabin in the woods with a very nice view from the deck. Lots to do locally, great adventures all around. Hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of fun. Cabin is well equipped so you don't have to bring everything with you!

Nice relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was private, quiet, and perfect to relax and unwind. We loved how the porch over the hot-tub was covered so even on a rainy day, you can enjoy it! Very clean, nicely decorated place that is very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen was delightful. Washer and dryer was convenient as well!Directions there were accurate. Keep in mind, before getting there, the road becomes windy and narrow then turns into gravel for a short distance before the hill. As stated, the driveway up to it is very steep gravel so make sure you have all wheel drive and are comfortable with it.

Bryson city vacation

Took a few days to enjoy Bryson City. Location was exactly what we were looking for. Cabin was clean. Had almost everything you could ask for. Could use some upgrades to the towels and some for the hot tub. One complaint is the noisy refrigerator. Overall a great stay.

Bryson Cabin Retreat

Wonderful, new cabin with a great view of the Smoky Mountains. Watch the sunset from your rocker on the wide porch or relaxing in the large hot tub. Very comfortable and fully stocked cabin. Just right for 4 people. Very convenient to Bryson City and the National Park. Lots of outdoor activities close at hand. Ensure you have detailed directions and an AWD/4WD vehicle is a must.

Amazing views and amenities

This place was stocked with everything you need! Everything was new and clean. The hot tub was amazing. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit due to wildfire warnings but everything else was great! The drive up there was extremely steep, 4 wheel drive is a definite must here. Do it the first time in the light and you'll be fine after that.

Stay away

We have stayed at properties across many states. This was by far the worst experience we have had. I am not sure if it is the owner, property manager or a combination of the two. The property manager does not respond to messages through VRBO don’t waste your time contacting them that way. It felt like the owner did not want to spend money to maintain the property. They’re, I’m sure, happy to get the rental income. The property has the foundation to be very nice. It was just worn. I would have been fine with some of the wear issues. One reason we booked the property was it was supposed to have a washer and dryer. There was a washer and dryer. They were all beat up and in poor condition. The washer did not work and had standing water in the unit. We ended up having to pay to have laundry done at the laundromat. The sliding glass door did not have a functioning lock. The bathroom door off the living area did not latch. There’s no toilet paper holder in the bathroom off the master suite. The hand soap dispenses were empty. I assume they are supposed to fill these as the containers for cotton swabs and qtips were filled. The worst was the bed in the master suite. We stripped the bedding as we were leaving to find the mattress as a large stain that appeared to be urine. It was DISGUSTING. We were very disappointed and will not come back. We’ve been to Bryson City before there are better maintained properties available.
