Located directly on the expansive sands of Treasure Island, Florida, Tropic Terrace Resort is a classic Old Florida retreat with no streets to cross before reaching the beach. The resort offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and some of the most breathtaking sunsets on Florida's west coast.

Bachelorette Weekend

Such a quiet place! We loved the access to walk down the beachfront on concrete on the beach side. We never once heard anyone outside of our space. Great place to go!!

Pleasant stay.

My Husband and I came down to Florida just for a long weekend. Unit 4 was a bit tiny but served our needs. Very clean. Property and grounds were beautiful.

Excellent spot

The property is in a great location, since our stay was in July it was extremely hot, we used the pool. The unit has a cold AC. The bathroom and kitchen was small but did its purpose. Overall a good stay for my wife and I.

Perfect for a short visit

The beach, the pool, the grounds, the location, the unit - everything was great. The unit is small but comfortable. Not good for cooking, but fine for simple breakfast and lunch. Great location, easy checkin, responsive staff, clean pool, good communal space. Perfect for our 3 day stay. Anything longer we would have wanted a larger unit.

Long Walk To Shore

Cute vintage motel updated to condos that was quiet and right at the boardwalk. Our unit was knowingly too small and we expected that. This unit had a filthy dirty floor, the bedspread was very old and didn’t feel clean. The futons Need to be removed and the AC unit is over the refrigerator. Brighter note, Property Manager was readily available to answer questions and obtain items needed for the kitchen. This resort is charming and everyone is extremely friendly. Aside from the longer than expected walk to the waterfront and what I have stated herein, this is a charmer.

Book a different unit

We like the property as a whole, the unit that we rented was needs to be updated. Two very old couches where stained and dirty. I actually covered one in a sheet just to sit on it. The TV was very small and attached just below the ceiling - there was a dresser but could not use it because the couch blocks its use. But the overall property was nice, would book again just in a different unit

Disappointing

Tropic Terrace amenities are fine, but the check-in procedure isn't. We waited in the hot parking lot until 4:30, when we finally got the text with the door code. Office closed on Sat. Studio was crowded - more furniture than in pix - and kitchen had no glassware, can opener, paring knife, serving bowls, etc.

Room was significantly smaller than advertised. Furniture was very old and Raggy. Common courtesy of more than 1 roll of toilet paper and paper towels would have been nice. Property was overall run down and way overpriced compared to other similar properties in the area. I would never go back or recommend.

The property was definitely the best kept that I have ever seen. Everything was clean as a whistle. The heated pool was a plus! Location was great… I think it was more of a 70 and up crowd. If it were my room, I would take out one sofa and put a dresser in. Needs a few more cookware. Overall… very good experience.
