An amazing cottage week!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage! It had everything we needed and more. Beautiful waterfront with lots of amenities to enjoy! Can’t wait for our next visit😊

Family vacay

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cottage! It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The shallow water entry was perfect for small children, while the deeper end by the dock was great for the older kids to jump in and have fun. Paul was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back again!

Excellent and relaxing summer getaway

The location was beautiful and the house is spectacular. There was plenty of room and privacy for our extended family group of 12. Lots of options if you wanted to be in or on the water, soak in some sun, or just relax and read a book. The host Paul was easily reachable and responsive to questions. They take pride in their cottage and it shows.

Family Weekend

We had a wonderful time at Hilltop Hideaway! The cottage was everything you could want for a week away with the kiddos + the grownups! There was never a dull moment from the water trampoline, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing off the dock, fires, and playing on the beach! Paul was so great and easy to communicate with! The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be back for more adventures! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a fabulous stay this summer! We thought this property might be too good to be true (the price was very reasonable for such a large place with so many amenities), but turns out it exceeded all our expectations!Our kids adored the water trampoline, sandy beach, epic kids bunks, and sports/water toys.We loved that the cottage is new and clear and decorated well. There was no clutter and everything we needed (paper towels, coffee pods, garbage bags, tin foil, appliances).Hilltop Hideaway feels very private, yet it isn't too far in the middle of nowhere.The view and lake are perfection & the lounge chairs, huge dock and big deck allow for complete enjoyment. The barrel sauna and outdoor shower were welcome surprises as well!We usually stay on Lake Roseau or Lake Joe, but took a chance on Star lake and just loved it. It was so warm and clear and the cliff jumping nearby made for fun memories.Plus this property is well laid out for multiple families to really enjoy being together without being on top of each other.There is no garbage pickup, but the drop off was easy and didn't make for any problems. Also no air conditioning, but every room has a modern ceiling fan and screens that open all around. We didn't feel hot -the setting among the trees keeps the place cool. If it had AC, I wouldn't have used it.It's also worth noting we were allowed to check in early and check out later. The owners went the extra mile and we are grateful for such a fabulous week!

Best cottage we've ever rented!

My family, friends and I were fortunate to have stayed at the Hilltop Lane cottage for the week of July 19th. To say our stay was incredible is an understatement. The cottage itself is stunning, you can feel the sweat, tears and love that was put into building it. So spacious yet cozy. Super clean and rustic with a touch of modern. The private beach was beautiful. Sandy, shallow waters that gradually gets deeper. Lots of non motorized toys and items to enjoy. Perfect for families of all ages. Our group consisted of ages 2 to 80 and this cottage accommodated their needs perfectly. Communication with the owners was easy and always fast. They are so nice!!! We seriously can't wait to rent it again next year. Thank you Beattie's!
