Hi Trevor, Very sorry to hear your wood was damp and not able to use the woodfire. We have a 24 hr contact number for all these instances that guests can call. Dear Raymond, Very sorry for the mix up with the Wheelchair access placed on the listing. Murchison Cottage definitely is not this. If l had known you were needing a home for Wheelchair access l would of moved you to another home immediately ..Again, very sorry. Due to not receiving your Check-in until l was able to reach you on your way to Murchison Cottage that afternoon, the system was late sending the Pre-Arrival to you. l also sent a Pre-Arrival just in case this was the problem, but still the system was slow. We do request all guests to tidy up on their departure, not do a deep clean. Also to place their indoor rubbish in the outside bins provided and clean the BBQ if used. The $40.00 charges are quite reasonable if the cleaners are needing to scrub BBQ and spilt food in bins. As shown on the House Rules to which you signed, all of the above was clearly stated. Marysville is a country town and we occasionally have mice scamper through some of the homes, l will confirm with the cleaner to pop back and go over the home when there are limited bookings. Very sorry we missed the few droppings found behind the cupboard. We hope to see you again with a happier and more comfortable stay.
