Beautiful place but had issues

The unit overall was lovely, the layout and appliance were high quality. Upon arrival, there were several things not taken care of. Towel racks were ripped out of the walls, and a wet mattress cover was left in the utility sink in the laundry room all week. Evolve was pretty much unhelpful.We had to bring own linens and towels. Somehow I missed this detail, it didn’t cross my mind that after paying as much as I did for this unit, that this basic amenity would not be provided. It created great difficulties for us. Five sets of sheets, 8 towels and 8 beach towels overwhelmed the already full car, and now there wasn’t room to pick up and drop off my 92 year old father-in-law from the airport. Uugh!When I first booked this unit, they sent check in and check out procedures that stated leave linens and sheets in a pile. When I inquired about the sheets the check out procedure “suddenly” was changed. It made me wonder if the ‘no sheets ‘ was always this way or did it change from when I booked to when I arrived? Evolve’s contact person wasn’t answering my texts and phone calls so I called customer service and then they contacted the contact person. I had previously had a great experience over the last two years with Evolve, but after this fiasco, I will not use them again. Bishops Landing was awesome, pools were great and Bethany Beach wonderful. The unit is nice, but should have been check in ready.

short term stay

The property itself is well maintained, clean and spacious. We used it only for sleeping as we had other accomodations. Only complaints were mainly as overlooking the fact that no bedding or linen were included. I overlooked this notification when booking as most rentals do include these items. Another problem is the costs other than the daily rental (VRBO) other expenses seemed excessive and resulting in almost doubling the expense, I feel that they should have been listed up front and not noted only when the final bill is presented.

Great vacation rental for families

This was our first time at the Bishops Landing community. We really enjoyed our stay.Spacious residence, great community only 4 miles from Bethany Beach, clean.Lots of amenities such as pools, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts and gyms.Great property for families. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay! The house was clean and the area was safe and welcoming!!! The house guest representative was so attentive and quick with responses. I would come back and stay here anyday!

Clean, spacious townhouse in a great community only 4 miles from Bethany Beach. Many amenities such as pools, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts and gyms. Great property for families.

Beautiful Home

We had two families stay here on vacation. 4 adults and kids ranging from 8-18. Everyone had their own space and the house was so relaxing and inviting! Loved the living room where we could all sit together and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a small meal or snack together! The pools were awesome, with plenty of seating and shade also! A short drive to wherever we wanted to go and traffic wasn’t awful in the location! It’s a great place to make memories!

Comfortable Vacation Home

This well-appointed home is elegant and comfortable. The townhome was clean and warm; it felt like walking into a family member's home. There are very few trinkets, which is nice. The kitchen has everything a family needs to cook and enjoy themselves... we did! Nearly everything you need is in the house. The only things missing were sheets and towels/toiletries. My family brought our towels/toiletries, and although we were told we could rent bedding, we didn't receive information on where to rent that bedding. We'll know next time to pack our own. Overall, this is an excellent vacation home :-)

Father’s Day getaway

The house and amenities were great! The neighbors were friendly. The neighborhood is very well maintained. I would make one suggestion purchase cable. My family and I like to lounge around and watch TV. Roku is not the best choice for movie entertainment.

Beautiful property

My family enjoyed our trip in the summer 2022. Check in was easy. The house was comfortable and big enough for 5 adults and 2 children with extra room to spare. The property is an end property and an easy walk to the pool/gym (1 block). The shuttle was wonderful to take us to the beach. Wonderful trip overall. Thank you!

Spacious beach house

Our family of 9 (ages 4-84) loved this comfortable beach house in Bishops Landing-just steps away from the pool. Would recommend.

Great place and nice location

We had a great family vacation. This house was in nice condition and it was in a convenient location. We enjoyed our stay and spent quality family time. The only improvement would be to make garbage disposal more convenient since we had to carry the garbage ourselves to the main dumpster which was a 4 blocks away from the house.
