If you're seeking a cosy winter escape, "Berry" has you covered with a welcoming open fireplace, perfect for snuggling up and embracing the warmth. Conveniently, you can purchase wood at the nearby service station.

Please note that while "Berry" is equipped with modern amenities, it does NOT include an oven ( Does have an Air Fryer )
However, rest assured that everything else you need for a comfortable stay is provided. With five bedrooms, two bathrooms, three showers, and three toilets, "Berry" can easily accommodate two or even three families. Here's the bedding configuration:

Great place to stay, close to everything. Good leg workout up and down the hill with back and forths. Neighbour (resident) complains after 2 or 3 days of noise or music. 10 or more people make noise when together go figure and it is a long weekend. Beautiful outlook on top deck for morning cuppa and breaky. Great space within the house. If not for the neighbour would book again. She ruined the vibe but if you don’t mind would highly recommend.

However it is very old and run down. There is no oven in the house despite one being shown on the website. Two of the bedrooms are not private and are used to walk from one part of the house to another. There is no airconditioner in the house. The bbq was so dirty I had to clean it before and after I used it and the automatic lighter did mot work. I would not stay here again.

But the property managers supplied us with heaters and then brought us some wood to burn the following morning. We were really appreciative

The price is too high for the condition of the house especially bathrooms and having to bring own linen and towels. There was no correspondence with Elders after we told them we were unhappy with conditions was very unprofessional.

2nd stay at Berry & very disappointed. Fridge not working, no gas in BBQ, cleaning dubious. Had complaints from neighbors before 10pm about noise and one of our car was keyed on the first night. Won't likely be back soon.

Thanks for your review Anthony. Partying until 2:00am and throwing beer bottles onto neighbouring roofs is not what we envisage as an ideal guest arrangement. Likewise it is frustrating for our staff to be receiving phone calls through the night and into the following day with complaints as to your and your co-occupants' behavour. Not to mention the property was left in a filthy state. We note that the trip switch inside the house had been tripped, none of the current appliances caused a re-trip once switched back on, so we are unsure what appliance you may have connected to trip the circuit. We also mention you did not return the keys to the property upon checking out, we are thankful that you returned them by post during the following week as we were just about to change all locks to the property. Also left behind was a fishing licence, our office did try to make contact with you after your stay regarding the keys not being returned, your bond claim for excess cleaning and beer/alcohol bottle removal, but to also advise that a fishing licence was left at the property. If you would be so kind as to answer your phone, we can arrange the return.
