Enjoy this private, sunny 2 bedroom home with outstanding views out to Matakana Island and the Mount from all living areas. The location couldn't be better with a walk/cycle path that runs the entire waterfront into town (10 minute bike ride) or over to the Mount. 5 minutes walk will have you at fabulous Cherrywood Village. A stones throw to the water means there is always something to do or simply relax and enjoy the large sunny deck This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

The property is located in a quiet street with a fantastic view over Tauranga Harbour.It is an easy walk to the local shops and a few minute drive into townUnfortunately the weather when we stayed here was rather wet and wild. However we had the best views of the squalls as they raced across the harbour. The property was well appointed with good size bedrooms.We would stay here again.

Island view perfection

Great property and the location was perfect for us. Had everything we needed for the weekend and close to family in the area. Would stay again and recommend.

Pippa and her family were perfect guests. The house was spotless on checkout, and they were quiet and considerate at all times. Communication was easy and all house rules followed. I would definitely recommend Pippa and happily host again.

Relaxing getaway with beautiful water views

Wendy and Grant were fantastic hosts. Their house was in a great location and was very comfortable. We loved our stay. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We would highly recommend staying there.

Comfortable Accommodation

Weekend away

Property was a perfect size for a family of 4. Clean and comfortable with sweeping views of the harbour. Easy stroll for nice walk along along the waterfront and close to a great playground for the kids. Mt M is about 10 mins drive away. Great place to relax and base yourself out of.

Top location - warm home - amazing views!

Had a wonderful stay recently at this lovely home in Matua, Tauranga. The views from the home are wonderful. The home has everything you could want or wish for and the beds are very comfortable. Location is perfect, walks along the waterfront and/or a short drive into town. Great communication from Wendy and Grant. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Fantastic location for a holiday in Tauranga.

We had a great stay at Island View! The owner was very easy to communicate with and went the extra mile to arrange a booking for us at late notice. Check-in was easy and the house was spotless on our arrival. The unit was the perfect size for our family of four and very well set-up. There was a little bit of noise from the road in the bedrooms but the street was quiet overnight. The views over to Mount Manganui were stunning and we enjoyed the easy access to the walkway along the waterfront. We look forward to returning one day!

Dream Place

The property is the best. The best location as it is near to the beach, to the Parks and to the grocery store and shops at the same time having the best view of the mount. It made our first two weeks in New Zealand so enjoyable, relaxing and memorable. The house is clean and complete with everything we need. I definitely recommend!!
