*This second-floor unit has a partial view of the Gulf. The beachwalk area of Sandpiper Cove is located at the front of the complex which allows you to walk to the beach in just a few short minutes. Beachwalk units are close to the largest pool, hot tub area, and putting greens at Sandpiper Cove. Sandpiper Cove, a 43-acre resort, has 1100 feet of sugar-white beaches that rest against the Gulf. Amenities include a 9-hole par 3 golf course, tennis, shuffleboard, horseshoes, boat docks, 3 hot tubs, 5 pools, a restaurant, and BBQ grills scattered throughout the complex for your convenience. Boat docks can be rented for an additional fee. The owner has installed all flat-screen TVs has a Blu-Ray player in the living room and a DVD player in the master bedroom and guest bedroom with twin beds! Enjoy this spacious 3-bedroom beach walk unit. Located near the best pool on our forty-three-acre property and just minutes from the beautiful beaches of Destin! Enjoy the emerald green waters and sugary white sands of the Gulf. After that, play a round of golf on our 9 hole 3 par course free on us to all of our guests that rent directly. Watch the sunset from the harbor nearby or enjoy our wonderful onsite fine dining restaurant.

*Complimentary access to Sandpiper Cove’s five sparkling swimming pools and three hot tubs located conveniently throughout the property along with charcoal grills, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts and a pitch and putt 9-hole golf course. Two of our pools are heated for your comfort during the winter months. On-premises food, The Sand Flea (beachside Tiki-Bar open March-October) and Louisiana Lagniappe (upscale seafood waterfront dining with a Creole flair, with casual attire permitted.)

Recommend - We would stay here again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and very nice condo. Three bedrooms lots of space. Only issue was the dryer was broken. We washed a load of clothes only to discover the dryer was broken. Contacted front office, they stated maintenance would come by, but did not. I would still recommend, just check the dryer works before washing clothes.

9207 was a big disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Sand Piper previously with very little issues. However, this time was a big disappointment with 9207 and Manager-Nirali and Briley.-check in receptionist. We checked in around 3:50 went to the condo. The bedsheets and comforters had animal and human hair on them. Mind you it states it’s non pet friendly. I went to the office spoke with a lady( did not know her name) the situation and was told Housekeeping leaves at 4 each day. She had me speak to Manager-Nirali I explained the situation again. She offered to give us bedding to change it ourselves with no discount. I told her absolutely no. She then offered a two bedroom condo for the night until Housekeeping could come clean it the next morning. We had 5 people in our family. I told her I’m not inconvenience my family for Housekeeping mistakes. She was furious with me and acting as though it was my fault. After 3 phone calls snd 30 minutes later she had Housekeeping coming back. I stayed at the office until Housekeeping arrived. Briley had an attitude with me regarding the situation. I ask her if she was in my position wouldn’t she be mad. She said oh course but we did offer the sheets and the two bedroom condo. She said you are inconveniencing yourselves. I was furious. I was inform Housekeeping had arrived at the condo. The owner of 9207 needs to fix the following issues: barstools are unsafe and wobbly. Furniture was worn, stained and old. Sliding door did not lock had a stick in the bottom of the door. Blinds were broken. Showers leaked. Deck railing rotten needs replaced. Dryer took over 2 hours to dry a load of laundry. It looks as those issues have been ongoing for some time looking at the reviews but hasn’t been addressed. The Door Key Pad was hard to see because of the sunlight shining on it. Otherwise we had a good time and love the beach. We won’t be renting from this Resort Again.

They are super noisy and it takes three runs to actually dry the clothes. The kitchen needs stocked with more cooking utensils and dishes, had a hard time even cooking breakfast with what was available for use.

Unfortunately, for the first time, the condo did not meet our expectations (by a mile). I kept a running list in my notes throughout the week of all the issues that need attention in this condo: Backdoor handle broken (fixed mid-week by maintenance)Bar stools, very wobbly & unsafe, need replacedNo pans No spatulas3rd bathroom is actually a half-bath (should be stated as 2.5 baths)Fold out bed is broken Stove broken (replaced mid-week)Several broken outlets Vacuum broken Dryer issues (took 3 hours to dry small loads of laundry)Laundry doors broken Right side twin bed very squeaky Shower drain clogged (maintenance fixed mid-week)Carpet and furnishing are just plain worn out, stained, and dirty It is apparent that the owners give this place zero TLC. I find this to be upsetting as it has great potential. Beyond the neglected condo, our stay was fantastic. The security, beach, pools, tennis courts, office staff, check in, check out, communication, and golf were perfection! We love Sandpiper Cove and hope that condo 9207 gets some updates soon before it completely falls apart

There was an issue with the key pad and maintenance fixed it pretty quickly. The stovetop put off heat even when off so my husband turned it off at the breaker. We had to make adjustments with our meals because of that. Other than that we had no problems. We will definitely be back.

The bathroom pictures are a bit miss leading, bedroom 2 & 3 join bathroom 2. There is a stand alone sink inside bedroom 2 and a tiny shower tucked away behind the door which is what they consider bathroom 3. It worked out for us, there was 7 of us and we just shared the two normal showers and it wasn’t an issue.

Condo was misleading!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You advertised your condo as a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom when it was clearly a 3 bedroom 2 bath. I am a real estate agent and that is false advertising. To consider it a 3 bathroom condo it has to have three full bathrooms with a toilet, tub and vanity in each one. We had two full bathrooms and a shower and sink in one bedroom. That is not considered a 3 bathroom condo. There was a hole in the door when we got there, the shower head was broken in one of the bathrooms and the stove had a broken burner.

The layout was a bit different than expected, with bathrooms only accessible by bedrooms, but worked out fine. Floors felt slimy with cleaning product so was hard to be Barefoot. Office staff were friendly and helpful with a few preexisting broken items. Nice to be able to see ocean from the unit! Maintenance needed on stairway and decking leading to unit.

Do not recommend

The property seems nice However, we had to contact property management while their related to both bathrooms toilet clogging multiple times which my husband fixed then it went on to over flow all over the bathroom floor. The sinks in the bathrooms also clogged my husband boiled water to declog We did contact maintenance no one ever came House keeping did clean the floor after we got the water up The chairs in the dining room very wobbly Dryer does not dry clothes The light bulb In master does not work Large hole in the outside chair on deck Sliding back door does not work well to lock Master shower/ bath clogged husband fixed that as well All of which was reported and nothing done during our stay. We’ve stayed at sandpiper numerous time We will never stay here again It is not worth the steep price they placed for a 5 night stay It seems nice but definitely needs some attention!

This years Unit 9207 no so good!

We love Sandpiper Cove, however this year we stayed in unit 9207 and it was not good. The unit needs major repairs. Stove burners do not work properly, the doors on the Laundry Room were broke, dryer did not dry clothes, washer and dryer very dirty, chairs (bar stools) were all broke, (need screws tighten I think), lights in master bath missing (2) light bulbs, ceiling fan light in master bedroom did not work, sink in queen bedroom hot and cold is backwards, closet with twin beds room broken, master bath toilet broke (would not flush), one of the twin beds squeaks like it is about to brake, sliding glass door to patio is extremely hard to open and close, towel rack in shared bathroom broke, deck railing in need of major repair. There are several things that are in need of repair. It was a nice condo just needs major repairs to make it comfortable and enjoyable vacation rental.

Trading the towels was a nightmare. 4 wash cloths for 9 people. The place wasn’t too clean. The bed sheets were still on the sleeper sofa from previous and dirty. The cost was reasonable until we stayed with all the issues. I brought 8 rolls of toilet paper - we were allowed 2 when we asked for them - and still no TP on last day. No salt, pepper, baggies, etc. thought maybe. Anyway I thank you for the experience.
