Quick look, the house was nice. If you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night or two, it's not bad for the money.The house is a short drive to the beach and there are some decent restaurants with 10 minutes drive.Previous guests did not clean the grill, so we were not able to use that. I would prefer a gass grill at a rental vs. the small charcoal grill that was available. The house could have been a bit cleaner, but for the price and reason for our stay, I wasn't going to be too picky.Would I stay here again, most likely as ling as the price is reasonable.

Excellent location for a weekend girls’ trip! The house was clean and only a short walk to the beach. We had plenty of room at the table for group meals and evening game nights. This was a trip to remember!

I would definitely do this stay again. It was definitely worth every penny. Some small rooms of improvement in cleanliness but nothing too crazy. Love it there for me and my family

Absolutely the best time!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! I can't say it enough. We had the absolute best time ever. This property owner thinks of everything, from your toddlers to grandparents. We will definitely be staying here again. My husband is a fisherman and we loved the location to the San Luis pass. It was just the best! Thanks to Trish who was our contact when we checked in, she was very attentive and took great care of us. Thanks again Trish! We'll see you next year.

Top Notch Property Management

We chose Sandpiper Paradise because the configuration of sleeping spaces was just what we needed for our large group, together with another family-owned property just across the street. But what made our visit remarkable was the excellent care we received from the property manager, Trish, before and during our stay. She's the person you'd want managing your own property for a VRBO. Excellent property and perfect customer service!

Peaceful Retreat

We were in search of a place to rest and recharge and this was it. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Trish our contact was amazing and answered all our questions and made us feel so welcome. If you need a place to come and relax, this is it.

Relaxing/Clean/Close to beach entry

We definitely would stay here again! The property was very clean and well kept up. We felt safe making ourselves at home. The kitchen is a great size and we utilized the large fridge and pantry to save money on eating out costs by buying food and cooking it right in the kitchen. The manager was absolutely great and was always responsive and was beyond helpful. She really made our stay easier and we had confidence we would be taken care of. We were close to the beach entry and would load up a car and a golf cart and head over and set up shop on the beach. There were plenty of towels and the downstairs outdoor shower was a game changer. Helped us not track loads of sand into the house by being able to thoroughly rinse off. It was even equipped with shampoo and body wash for those who wanted to take a complete shower. The front deck was lovely to sit out on in the evenings and listen to the ocean. You aren’t far from Galveston but there is a $2 toll to get there. We loved the beach where we were and felt no need to utilize Galveston beaches. Not crowded, great sand for sandcastles. The only warning I have is about mosquitos. Do come with spray or outdoor foggers or candles of some kind. They were pretty active on most days except when the temp dropped and we had a breeze on a night or two. We didn’t see any mosquitos on the beach just underneath the house in the driveway and on the front porch at times. It wasn’t anything unbearable as long as you’re prepared. You won’t be disappointed with a stay here.

Fun Time!

Couldn't be more happy with the whole experience. Trish, our guest contact was super helpful before, during, and after our stay and I would probably book again just to be able to talk to her. Seriously the house was beautiful, immaculate, and was the perfect size for our group. The entire house, including the furniture was clean, no stains anywhere AT ALL! And bonus, no sand in the bed or on the floors! This was a big deal to me. We only stayed 2 nights which was a mistake on our part because we simply didn't want to leave. The house had just about everything you could possibly need. Separate towels for use at the beach, board games, card games, puzzles, toys, movies, and much more. The owners clearly thought of everything just in case you didn't. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to make your own meals. Be sure to do food/drink shopping before crossing over to the island as there weren't any actual grocery stores nearby and the convenience stores were extremely overpriced. The location of the house was awesome for the main reason we were there, beach relaxation! We were just a few streets over from the neighborhood beach access and it had a good sized parking area so you didn't have to lug your tent, chairs, or coolers very far. The beach was nice, the water was surprisingly warm, and you can even access the beach with your vehicle just outside the neighborhood. Very happy we decided to book Sandpiper Paradise, Thanks for a great time we will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Amazing little place!

This place was nice and cozy and SO kid friendly! We traveled with 4 small children and they felt right at home with all the games and toys. The house has just about everything you need to prepare your own meals. The contact person was super attentive any time I had questions. We had beach access just one block over and down so it was great not having to drive and park on the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Loved It!

We had a 3 night stay, with our 3 children under 7 y.o. House was very well stocked, clean, and comfortable - much newer and fresher than beach houses we have stayed in the past. Everything works just as advertised (or better)! It is close to the beach, but too far to walk with gear and children (+ the heat). However, it is an easy truck ride, golf cart ride to the beach access through the neighborhood which is very convenient (<0.5 miles). No need to get on any major roads, just two quick neighborhood streets. The house manager (Trish) - honestly the best I have ever seen. Literally daily texts during our trip to make sure we had everything we needed. And she called week before our stay to answer any questions, and run over all the details. We will be back!

Great rental for the family!!

We took our grandsons on this vacation and it was by far one of the best vacations we have experienced! Cozy & relaxed neighborhood, clean spacious house with amazing decks. Great view all around and you can drive on the beach!!
