Beverly Beach Seaclusion - Meredith Lodging

Try a quiet stay on a ridge above Beverly Beach, the long, open stretch of beach just north of Newport. It’s a perfect spot if you have surfing or beachcombing plans—the Otter Rock and Beverly Beach area is popular with surfers and has an incredible exposed fossil bed for beach walkers to explore. Beverly Beach Seaclusion is a bright, clean single-level home located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a cul-de-sac, with three bedrooms including a master suite. The living room has an electric fireplace to keep you cozy, and comfortable furnishings for relaxing gatherings with your guests. Lovely place!

We enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to the beach to hear the waves! We were just a bit overwhelmed by the bleach in the jacuzzi and did not use it as much as we'd like. However the oversized bath tub with jets sure made up for it!

Excellent!!!

This is a lovely house managed by a property management company. It has a beautiful backyard and is walking distance to Bethany Beach. You can hear the ocean from the house!!

Great but a few issues

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. However, the keypad needed to have the batteries changed as it would function only occasionally and the backyard could use some tree pruning as the path to the hot tub and firepit was overgrown with plants. Also, the HDMI cable for the TV was unplugged so we had to figure out how to reinstall it and the TV was mounted on a baseplate that doesn't swivel making it pretty difficult to see behind the TV.

Had issues with property management and they didn’t care

Meredith is a terrible property management company. I was hurt from a chair breaking underneath me and they didn’t care one bit. They never sent me property access info until 2 hours after I was allowed access to the property and they claimed they sent the info a week prior and there was no email ever sent. Had to spend a significant time of my stay trying to contact them instead of enjoying my stay.

Great place!

Great house, close to town & close to the beach. Perfect location & house for our stay. The kids loved the garage and the ping pong table. Plenty of room, very cozy.

Quiet neighborhood

Great house. Quiet street. Had lots of fun with ping pong and corn hole that were at the house. Also the fire pit and hot tub after a long day at the beach. Haven't laughed so much in a long time. Was wonderful thank you!!

Minutes from the Beach!

My family and friends stayed two nights, it was a very nice, clean, and comfortable house to stay in for 5 people. We appreciated the extra towels available. Great location just a few minutes drive from the beach. The only recommendations we had for a better stay is to have a bin for recycling available, and for the hours of hot tub use be extended. Ending hot tub use at 9pm, (especially in the summer, when it only gets dark out at 10pm) is way to early for a vacation rental. Other than that, we loved it.

Super cozy and an AMAZING kitchen!

Beautiful backyard, a fantastic kitchen. Plenary of room and close to Newport. The neighborhood wasn’t super walkable and wish we could see the ocean but the Spring or summer would be even better so you could use the backyard space. Thank you for making the Girls’ trip another amazing year!

Overall it was a great experience. Hot tub seamed a little over chlorinated. Was very prickly and itchy to the skin. Unable to stay in longer than 10 minutes. The microwave didn't work as well. Outside of those two, we had a great time. We would recommend this house to others.

"I love this house"

Our grandchildren mentioned several times- "I love this house". I think they liked having a spacious house and having their own room on vacation. I loved having eco friendly and non fragrant laundry soap and having a washer and dryer available. Providing beach towels was a nice extra and being by Beverly beach made trips easy. I would suggest adding nonstick spatula/spoons for your teflon cookware and a few small plastic containers for left overs. Over all, nice place to stay re: location, quality of place and hot tub amenity.

Great trip to the coast!

Overall, we loved staying at this house! It was a perfect location, had great amenities, and plenty of space! We loved the hot tub, not heat problems for us, it was nice and hot! We loved playing ping pong too! If we had booked a longer stay, we would have enjoyed the fire pit but we ran out of time. I’m giving one less star because we got locked out- the code worked for the deadbolt, but the doorknob has a lock on it that allows the door to turn on the inside, making you think it is not locked, then you close the door and you’re locked out. Thankfully the management company was quick at responding! One other thing I will mention- the futon in the back bedroom was very squeaky/creaky to the point where our friend chose to sleep on the couch instead because it annoyed her. Not a huge deal, but just keep that in mind. Besides those couple of things we enjoyed our stay! There’s a pack n play for babies, but we just coslept so we didn’t open it. There’s also some kid toys and kid movies too! We would have liked to stay longer, maybe we will come back!

Wonderful home

We had a hiccup with our check in process. The bottom lock was turned so we were not able to unlock the door with the code as directed. Luckily the property management team handled it fairly quickly and we were able to get in. House was well stocked and close to lots of sight seeing spots. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub after the long days of enjoying Newport and all the surrounding areas.

Wonderful Friend Getaway

All the rental communication, payments and technicalities went smoothly. We added another night at the last 'minute' And the property management was very prompt in returning my messages and getting that all squared away. The house is very comfortable and with two separate wings for bedroom areas so it was perfect for the two of us couples who are good friends to hang out together and apart. The beach was amazing!

Great!

We had a great experience at this rental. It was only a few minutes from town but also felt secluded. The home was clean and we definitely would love to come back once the weather warms up. The only downside was the hot tub was just barely warm and it took awhile to figure out how to fix the jets (the breaker was off).

Was an excellent stay!

Enjoyed the location of the house. Close enough to the beach, you could hear the water. Not so close that it was too loud. Had an issue with 1 of the toilets. Sent a message explained the situation and before we knew it, the handyman was there taking care of the problem. Very happy with the whole experience. (Our first rental through VRBO) We will definitely do this again! Highly recommend this home for renting. Thank you so much for making it a memorable experience 😊🥰

Comfortable and Quiet

The days we spent here were nice. Everything in the house worked great. With the exception of the hottub, which we had difficulties with changing the temperature. But overall, it was an excellent stay. We recommend this place.
