Welcoming, Peaceful, Spacious, Close to Everything

What makes Clarence House Cottage different? Our guests tell the story. They remember the thoughtful touches, peaceful atmosphere, comfortable beds, ideal location and genuine hospitality. Their consistent 5-star reviews—and the many who return—continue to inspire everything we do. Our simple goal is to create a place where you'll arrive as our guest... and leave wanting to return.

You Arrive...
Nestled in a peaceful, tree-lined street, Clarence House Cottage welcomes you with colourful cottage gardens and a warm, inviting entrance. Local shops are nearby, public transport is just a one-minute walk away, and Adelaide Airport, the CBD and Glenelg Beach are all approximately 15 minutes by car. The Adelaide Hills and the renowned wineries of McLaren Vale are also within easy reach, making the cottage the perfect base from which to explore South Australia.

Step Inside...
Open the front door and discover a thoughtfully designed four-bedroom home where comfort and space combine beautifully. Two separate living areas provide room to relax, a fully equipped modern kitchen makes dining a pleasure, and every room has been carefully prepared to help you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Relax Outdoors...
Slide open the doors onto the covered entertaining deck and let the pace of life slow down. Enjoy your morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or an evening meal while overlooking the gardens, accompanied by the gentle, soothing sounds of the cascading water fountain nearby.

Discover the Gardens...
Wander through the gardens and you'll find three separate outdoor seating areas, each offering its own peaceful place to pause. Sit beside the cascading water fountain with a favourite book, share a quiet drink under the trees, or simply relax while the songs of local birds become nature's own soundtrack throughout the day.

Convenient Cottage with Caring Host

We spent ten days at Kym’s cottage. It is conveniently located, warm, quiet and contained everything we needed. Kym is a kind and courteous host who went out of his way to ensure that all of our needs were met, especially those of my husband who has mobility problems.

Outstanding property

We’ve stayed in many accommodation houses and can say that this cottage is certainly one of the best. Everything from communication with the owner, the property itself, the cleanliness, attention to detail is all designed for maximum experience. Nothing disappointed. For us, when visiting Adelaide again, there’s no need to search elsewhere.

Comfort of Home

Where should i start…. Booking online was easy. Communication with our host was easy. On arrival we were met by the delightful Kym and shown around the house. The house/home is AMAZING,it has EVERYTHING you need. We entertained family every night, used every dish and utensil in the house with no need to compromise. The comfort and decor, chocolate, wine, slippers, robes shows how commited our host Kym is. Location is great:) Thankyou Kym
