Location was great. The beach was beautiful. We have rented units in the clearwater besch/sand key are for close to 20 years. This unit was the most disappointing. VERY hard to use the pool due to construction which from talking to owners has been going on for over a year and will continue possibly another year. The owner did not tell us of this and he knew this remodeling was going on for the last year. Elevators were out of service on some days, sitting by the pool was like having a root canal with all the jack hammers, cement saws, hammers and yelling construction workers. Residents were all complaining. We should have been told of this. We rented this unit because it had a pool, couldn't use it between 9am and 4pm. The unit itself was ok. Living room looks updated from the 90's, but kitchen and bath need some work . Very clean except for corners were old tile is.cut my toe on a broken piece of parquet flooring that was broken. The pull out bed is aweful. We both were forced to the middle no matter were we started which is great sometimes but other times geez..then getting out of the bed is like climbing out of quick sand. You sink in the middle and have to dig your way out. If you have any mobility problems not the bed for you! I have bad knees and it was all I could do to get out of this bed. Overall well stocked except for sharp knives. We ate breakfast and lunch at the cindo and cutting stawberries and cantelope with a butter knife was interesting. Very well stocked with beach towels and beach chairs. Balcony was lovely, new chairs. We had a nice week overall other than not being able to use the pool very often (which we paid for) and having to have my husband sleep in the club chair and me on the couch all week. Both our backs were kIlling us. Location was great view was great. Will not rent from this owner again due to the deceit
