Executive suite for adults and families, stays cool all summer, warm in winter, comfy lounge area with TV & fireplace, full kitchen with a table for lovely family dinners, large bedrooms/comfy beds, remote work space, great Wi-Fi, private deck with BBQ/distant water view, amenities such as shopping and eating out are nearby, and 8 walking beaches are nearby. (plus Parksville white sand beach). Week and month stays welcome (washer/dryer available for longer stays). Besides being perfect for working from home, our suite is also central and accessible for skiing, surfing and sightseeing.

Within walking distance there are grocery stores (Quality Foods, Thrifty’s, Fairways)…Superstore and Save-On are a few minutes drive. Many places to eat out right in the neighborhood (Longwood Pub/Restaurant, Cactus Club, Korean food all within walking distance), with a lovely artisan bakery, Bodhi’s Bakery within walking. Woodgrove Mall is about a 15 minute walk. Whale watching and fishing charters are easy to access from here as well.

You and your family will find our suite to be a very cozy inviting space.

It was clean, communication was good. Beds were cozy and kitchen is very well stocked. I especially appreciated the deck with table and chairs and the binder with information that was left for us. We will 100% be staying here again.

Family visit with elderly relative

Our stay in Nanaimo at Christine's home was lovely; the space was perfect for our needs and gave us a home away from home while we visited our step-mom/Nana who had just turned 96. The space was clean and spacious, and Christine went above and beyond to help us accommodate a small child. The bonus for us was that it was located very close to our elderly relative's home, so we could go back and forth easily. We will definitely look this Vrbo up the next time we visit Nanaim.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our week stay so much! Clean and modern place and well appointed! Had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Terrific location, a nice quiet street, even saw deer on a couple of mornings that the kids loved! It truly felt like a home away from home! Christine was the perfect hostess, friendly and with lots of tips on what we could do in the area. We can't recommend this VRBO enough! Thank you Christine!

Awesome stay

The place, location, host were wonderful. We enjoyed very much knowing the host. Christine was very sweet and gave us a lot of local hints for places which we enjoyed very much. All the amenities were great and Christine made us a delicious Dutch apple cake. I highly recommend her. We will definitely stay at her place on our next trip. Family Visit

Our visit to the island was a quick one to catch-up with extended family. Upon arrival, the place was clean, bright and welcoming. We had a small view of the ocean and mountains, which could be seen from the wonderful deck. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Chris checked in on us to make sure we had everything. We really appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness. I would highly recommend this place.

A cozy getaway in a lovely location

Spacious, clean and well-equipped suite taking up the bottom floor of a lovely house in a quiet residential neighborhood, nestled against a wooded area. Property is near restaurants and grocery stores, and is just a short drive into downtown Nanaimo. Host is welcoming, caring, and very helpful in making suggestions for places to go, eat, etc. Christina goes the extra mile as a host. We were even gifted a Coho salmon from their catch.

Great Nanaimo Getaway

The place is located in a quiet residential area, but beaches and coastal walks are still nearby and driving into town is quick and easy. Spacious and clean place. Great host who gave us tips for trips and offered us some fresh sockeye upon arrival. Delicious!

Convenient and clean

Great communication with the host and flexible with our late arrival on a late ferry. Very clean and perfect for accommodating our extra guests for a family get together.

Delightful deck - ocean view in the distance

We enjoyed many meals out on the deck with a far off view of the ocean, and magnificent sunsets 2 nights! The terraced flowers at the back of the deck, attracted hummingbirds for our entertainment. Layout inside was excellent, kitchen well equipped, and most importantly, the mattresses were extremely comfortable!

Great Family Stop

Our 5 Star stay began at time of booking where the hosts reached out right away assuring us of our reservation. The check in was seamless and the suite was cozy and met our needs perfectly. Nicely located on a quiet neighbourhood cul de sac and was walking distance to groceries, liquor store, restaurants and a pub. Our hosts were amazing. We will be back!

Nanaimo - a beautiful and friendly city to visit

Accomdation was clean and roomy. Accomodation was the ground floor of the house with a private entrance, and a private deck and BBQ. From the deck there was a view of the ocean and mountains. I did not have a car and got around by public bus which was good. Grocery stores and bus stops were nearby.

Lovely experience

This stay was perfect for a few nights in Nanaimo. The property was clean, booking was easy and the little personalized touches added to the experience. Location was perfectly central, made for an easy day trip up to Parksville and Nanoose bay, and very quick into downtown Nanaimo. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Amazing

Had a lovely stay. Chris is a very welcoming and helpful host who is available if you need her. The accommodation is really comfortable and clean. The location is great too near some lovely beaches.

We have a lovely, comfy, clean suite, with well provided kitchen for making your family meals to eat either inside or outside on the deck with distant ocean view. There is a lovely lounging living area and very comfy rooms. This is a nice quiet neighborhood with dining and shopping very nearby. There is also a designated work area and great Wi-Fi which other guests have used to work from home while here.

Nanaimo is a very central location on Vancouver Island, 2 minutes to highway 19 which goes all over the Island. We have 8 beautiful walking beaches nearby, ability to hire fishing charters, go kayaking, whale watching. Skiing (Mt. Washington) and surfing (Tofino) are both within driving distance.
