Sunset Bay Villa 312 | Waterfront Balcony + 14' Boat Slip + Pool Access

Villa 312 is a beautiful 3 bedroom villa featuring a master bedroom suite with luxury bath, gourmet kitchen with center island which is great for entertaining, laundry room with washer/dryer and a waterside balcony overlooking Chincoteague Bay. There are TVs in all the bedrooms, and a computer desk to work from. Villa 312 will sleep 8, and features lots of extras including beach gear and baby gear for your use, as well as a 14' boat slip. Your rental also includes the use of the Sunset Bay pool and fitness area. Located adjacent to our historic downtown area, where you'll find gourmet food shops, boutiques, a public library, galleries and fine dining - all with a short stroll. Come and enjoy a Sunset Bay vacation! | Note: This villa has access to a 14' boat slip.

Nice property - Could have been better

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious property with great views from the balcony in a great location. Overall, our stay was pleasant and enjoyable, however attention to detail was lacking in some areas. The whirlpool tub released fragments of mold when turned on; drained and tried again with the same result. The master bath shower had mold in the corners and the overhead light was out. Upon advisement, the property management company was responsive to our request but informed us that maintenance would not be able to address the issues over the weekend. The cabinet door handles, towel bars, and other hardware were loose. While none of these items are deal-breakers, it gave the feeling of being less than clean and maintained which is especially disappointing given there is a charge specifically dedicated to “cleaning”. Overall, we had a pleasant experience in Chincoteague but as the title of our review states, it could have been better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our time, the rental was great as it has always been. The amenities and location are great, which is why we come back. Biggest issue is extent of cleaning, especially around the bathrooms, just needs more effort/attention.

We love Chincoteague Island! Great view and comfortable for the most part. Deck furniture is very uncomfortable, and the plastic coverings on the beds were also uncomfortable and causes sweating.

A week without a washer and CRV couldn’t have cared less. We received a call on Friday before our Sunday check in saying that the washer was broken and the part was ordered. When we checked in there was no note on the washer so we called and never received a return call. We called three more times and either left messages that were not returned or talked to someone and were told that they would call us back with an update or it would be tomorrow and neither happened. Don’t use the excuse of the Labor Day holiday of the storm either. Neither if those things keep you from returning a phone call. We have rented from CRV in the past but will look elsewhere in the future.
