Proudly hosted by Island Rentals of Hilton Head, 74 Ocean Breeze is a beautifully redecorated two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath villa that offers spacious comfort and a bright, uplifting coastal feel. Ideally located just a short walk from the beach, this inviting retreat places you close to everything—three on-site pools, a recently resurfaced hard court tennis court, and the popular shops and restaurants of Coligny Plaza.

The open living area features comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and a sofa that converts to a queen-size sleeper, perfect for accommodating children. The updated kitchen is equipped with new appliances and a convenient breakfast bar, flowing seamlessly into the dining area with seating for four—ideal for relaxed meals after a day at the beach.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom offers a queen bed, TV, and a private full bathroom. The second bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle and its own private bathroom, making it a great option for families. A stackable washer and dryer are also located on the second level for added convenience.

Guests will enjoy complimentary WiFi, TVs in every bedroom, an electric grill on the back deck, four beach chairs, and four adult aluminum bikes from South Beach Cycles. The community pools are open seasonally from April through October. This villa is also pet friendly, allowing up to two well-behaved dogs for an additional fee, so your four-legged family members can join in on the fun.

HHI Vacation 2025

Very nice accommodations, clean, well furnished. Nice to also include the bikes. A good walk for my dog to the beach and back. Pool was nice, clean, and accessible. Quiet neighborhood, adequate parking, and well maintained grounds. We have been vacationing on HHI for over 35 years, many different locations, and this was our first time at this location and we very much enjoyed our stay! HHI 2025

The location of the property is great- walking distance to everything. Property could use a facelift but was fairly clean and very neat. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed our month long stay.

Infested with roaches

I stayed in a nice (so I thought) condo. This property ended up being infested with roaches. I was given a refund of two days of my stay only and an exterminator came while we were there. However, I called back to let them know how much this ruined my vacation and I did not think 2 days was sufficient. I did not receive a call back. I had to throw away all my food and eat out the majority of our stay. This cost me more money than I planned for a full family vacation. I will never book with them again!

If you value cleanliness, look elsewhere.

Pros 1. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc 2. Little mesh bags with shampoo, conditioner, lotion and the soaps were a nice touch 3. Grounds are very peaceful and lovely 4. Furnishings are well themed and nice 5. The location and proximity to the beach is amazing; there’s a walking/biking path that takes you to Alder Lane Beach access which I highly recommend as this access point has no parking so it’s foot and bike traffic only which means the beach is MUCH less crowded Cons 1. Bedsheets felt like paper; they even make “crinkle” sounds when moving them around; probably the lowest quality sheets I’ve slept on in my life and I I’m not fancy - I just buy normal ones from Target 2. Pillows in master bedroom were rather flat and should be replaced; no support whatsoever 3. There was sand in some of the beds which was incredibly disgusting; did they even change out the linens between guests??!! 4. Bathroom sinks were very short; I’m 5’10”, hubby is 6’ and we basically had to squat to wash our hands, and especially our faces; they feel child sized 5. Inner shower curtains had mold and staining on the bottoms; outer (decorative) curtains were rather old and faded 6. Upstairs was overly warm and instructions were not to turn AC below 72°; it was comfortable downstairs but it it was definitely warmer than that upstairs and a little uncomfortable; if I’m paying to stay somewhere, I should be able to adjust the temperature to whatever is comfortable for my family

Small but perfect

The place was clean, well stocked and was in a good location. It was small but worked perfect for our group of 5. It had pretty much everything we needed minus a few necessities, even beach chairs, cart and toys.

Easter weekend

It was clean, prepared and had most of the stuff we needed. Very convenient for my pup to go out back. It was almost fenced in. Right next to the pool. The only negative we had was the bed. Both our backs hurt bad. Wouldnt hurt to buy a decent memory matress. Over all enjoyed the stay. Check in was simple.

Island Rentals...

The folks at Island Rentals were very nice and very responsive to needs. Only had issues with two things- the back deck was not appealing- some old furniture and no view. Also, the thermostat is on the second floor, leaving the upstairs comfortsble, but the downstairs quite cold for winter use ss seniors, when really cold outside. But, Island Rentals helped us by providing us a space heater to help out. Overall, enjoyed our stay!

Good stay but not great

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was good but not as nice as other HHI accommodations. Upstairs, bedrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Both bathrooms were dated but clean and worked well. Stacked washer-dryer in laundry closet, washer worked great, dryer took a long time, lint trap was in bad shape. Hard floors throughout unit except the stairs were carpeted (but clean). All rooms downstairs were clean and nice except the kitchen. Although it was clean with newer appliances, everything else was dated and disorganized. Some pots and pans were not clean or were in bad shape. The cabinets and pantry were simply gross. First-floor half bath was a plus. Back sliding door was difficult to open. Our biggest issue was the front door lock. There is no deadbolt that you can lock from the inside so all you need is the code to open the door. I doubt the code was changed often because it is on a laminated sheet of paper. I had to prop a chair under the door handle at night to feel more secure while we slept.It was nice that the bikes were included and all in a bike rack across from the unit. Tires were inflated and they were rideable but only fair condition. Didn’t use the beach gear but it was nice that it was made available (including the beach cart). The pool was very nice with bathrooms too.It was a good walk to the beach and Coligny and took us some time to figure out the best way to the beach. Alder Lane beach access is the closest with nice restroom facilities and access to Loggerhead Landing where you can get food and drinks. If you drive, go out the Lemoyne Ave entrance to S Forrest Beach (much faster than Cordillo). Public parking on Woodward Ave is 25 cents/15 min and they do check for expired meters. If you walk, fastest route is the paved path at the entrance to the complex (off Cordillo). This path runs parallel to Woodward. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from unit to shore.Overall, the price was decent for 2 b

Fridge freezer and appliances were clean. We have no noise complaints at all, the area is very quiet. It was about a 10 min or less walk to the beach access. It was a 2 min drive, and the parking area for the beach is huge so we drove most of the time. Always was able to park right out front of the villa. It is a good central location to most everything on the island. We didn’t have any issues with anything in the villa not working and never had to call maintenance. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again.

Nice Vacation Villa

The condo was nicely decorated and looked like a professional decorated worked on it. We had a very hot week down there so the pools were refreshing. We always went to the big pool, which was further away but had more room and more chairs. We never saw the third pool that was mentioned in the description. We were able to use the tennis courts once, but there was only one court, not two as mentioned in other descriptions we read before coming. The walk to the beach was a little bit long for me but otherwise the location was good. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the Alder Lane Beach access. The only complaint about the cleanliness of the condo was that our sheets in both bedrooms were sandy when we arrived. We had to wash the sheets ourselves to get rid of that. Some of the condo was outdated such as the cabinets in the kitchen and the bathrooms but overall it is a nice condo. The patio or deck is very small and could not be used much. We did use the grill, but it is very small and was an electric one that was kind of hard to clean. We went kayaking our last day on the island at Jarvis Creek and saw dolphin where the intercoastal waterway meets the creek, so that was nice. We also took a night trip to Savannah, Georgia that was nice but very hot to walk around. I would recommend a trolley tour if you go there in the summer, even at night.

Labor Day Weekend

Loved all of the kitchen supplies- super clean and ample towels and toiletries. The best part was the bike availability and beach supplies! Boogie boards, beach chairs that you can put on your back and the beach carts were AWESOME.

Our stay was great - perfect location

Located between Coligany Beach and Forest Beach. Loved that bikes were included. Used them every day. Pools were nice. Our only complaint which is not major - wished there was a bathroom on the main floor. The Villa fit our family fine. Price was reasonable and loved having a full functioning kitchen and supplies. Would stay here again.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s within walking/biking distance to many of the big attractions, Coligny Plaza and beach among others. Easy walk to the beach. The house is clean and was plenty of room for a family of four if your kids don’t mind sharing a room. The pool was close, small but nice. Bikes being on site were great. Only a few complaints. Kitchens and bathrooms a little dated but that’s not a big deal to us. Biggest issue was lack of outside space, there's a deck but its small and only has a tiny folding table and two folding chairs, not inviting and not enough room for all of us to sit and eat outside. Also the slider to the deck would not lock after opening it without a lot of effort, this made it not worth opening it as I was unsure if we would be able to lock it. Also wish there was a screen so you could leave the slider open sometimes. overall a good stay!

Great trip

This is a great property and prime location. Still gave privacy. Place was big and it was nice to have beach toys and all extra amenities. Only complaint was the plates were dirty on the bottom of the piles of dishes probably from not being used for a while
