This place is truly unique. A free-standing STATE OF THE ART DESIGNER home in a peaceful cul-de-sac, set back from the road, in a pretty and lovely residential suburb.
NOW WITH portable AIR-CONDITIONER
Perfectly located between: Centennial Park (2 mins walk), Bronte beach (8 min drive), Bondi Junction shopping centre & train station (8 min drive) + 20 min bus/train to city centre. Street parking is reafily available and free.
Perfect for FILM industry people as FOX studios are only a 30 min. walk/10 min. cycle thru Centennial Park.
Sustainably designed with CLT timber to stay cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. North facing aspect with ceiling fans in both main living rooms + an evaporative cooler + ample glass windows: it is airy, light, cool + well ventilated.
Travel cot and all linen provided on request.
With its own entrance off a quiet laneway, the space is private and has an indoor/outdoor space within the building.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you'll need.
You will love your stay here, it will be peaceful, comfortable and close to all that Sydney has to offer.
for stays over 1 week cleaning there will be an additional cleaning fee of $50.
For stays of 3 weeks or longer, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $100.
Parking is good and fairly easy to find in the area. I have parking tokens for all day parking that I can give you for $7./day. Or there are free all-day parks on the road around the park, 5 minutes walk away. Also free parking from 6pm - 8am in the all the other streets directly around the area with free 2 hour parks in the day. with many 2 hour spots.
The single bed and travel cot can both be made up on request and for a $50 charge for each.
SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES:
- Our home is electrified with a solar-powered battery and panels, so (as long as tenants do not leave heaters etc on over-night or when they are out), it is 100% sustainably solar-powered.
All provided amenities and cleaning products used are environmentally responsible, bio-degradable, and free from harsh chemicals.
The passive design of the building, utilises: building orientation, high-performance insulation, glazing, and airtightness to maintain comfortable temperatures naturally. The house is built with CLT (cross-laminated timber) which is considered a leading sustainable building material because it acts as a carbon sink, significantly reduces embodied carbon compared to concrete and steel, and is manufactured from renewable resources. Architecturally, CLT allows for high-performance, prefabricated designs that improve construction speed, reduce waste, and provide excellent thermal insulation.
