Eagle's View Penthouse: 180 degree unobstructed ocean and city views!

Welcome to Eagle’s View Penthouse, a stunning newly renovated mountaintop oasis nestled at the top of Triangle Mountain in beautiful Colwood BC. Unobstructed 180-degree views of Mt Baker, the Olympic Mountains, Pacific Ocean and the city of Victoria which was voted one of the top 10 cities in North America by Travel and Leisure readers in 2015. Watch the eagles soar and the cruise ships come and go as you take it all in from the 500 square foot deck. In the evening retire to the brand-new flagstone patio to sit by the propane fire table. At night the city lights up the skyline as the moon rises behind Victoria.

Victoria BC is known as the city of gardens. Visit Butchart Gardens 55 acres of floral displays, butterfly gardens, Beacon Hill Park and many other provincial, regional and municipal parks and beaches. We are within walking distance of a beautiful swimming spot, Lookout Lake and a mere 15 min drive to the downtown city of Victoria where you can go whale watching, visit Canada’s oldest Chinatown, or check out the boats at the inner Harbor. There are many large grocery stores and shopping a 5 min drive into the city of Colwood and Langford.

ABOUT THE SPACE

This home is ideal for 4 people. The suite is newly renovated and each of the 2 large bedrooms have a king-sized bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, blender, espresso machine, toaster, microwave, ice machine, brand new oven and full-sized fridge. The open concept living room, dining space comfortably sits 4 people and has a large flat screen fiber Optik TV with sound bar, Netflix, Prime video, and Wi-Fi throughout the suite. There is an electric fireplace, heat pump and air conditioning. There is a washer and dryer in the suite for your convenience. The spa like bathroom has a large soaker tub and a stand-alone shower. The 500 square foot deck faces the beautiful view with 4 lounge chairs and patio set with another large private outdoor patio at the front of the house equipped with 4 Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and brand new 6 person hot tub. Owners with two small children live on site so please no parties or loud noise after 9PM. Smoking permitted on the front patio only.

Not Clean

Only good thing I can say about this property was it had a beautiful view!When we arrived, the bed had been made up with sheets, still wet, and we had to put sheet in the dryer before we could even go to bed. Overall, the cleanliness was very poor. We communicated this to the host and received no response back.

3 nights Victoria area

We loved coming back to Eagle's View after a day exploring Victoria area. A beautiful apartment, with gorgeous view, including Mt Baker on a clear day. We enjoyed breakfast before heading out, returning for dinner on the deck, then an evening hot tub. The shared driveway was a little tricky, but were able to park our SUV with room to spare. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, clean, quiet stay

Residence was clean, quiet and comfortable with everything that we needed for our stay on Vancouver Island. The view from the balcony is accurate in the listing and beautiful day and night. We chose to park on the street rather than the driveway which was perfectly fine. Owner was very nice and responsive to messages. Location was good as a launching pad for touring both Victoria and natural areas provided you have a vehicle.

Couldn't Be Any Better

Stunning property, decor is outstanding, bathroom is equally wonderful, I stayed here with my brother for 2 nights, so the double bedrooms were perfect. It's not easy to find, so here's a tip, when you put it into google, do the nearest house number that is an even number & it will take you right there. This was a perfect location for us, we had a car, you will need a car, the overlook to Victoria Harbor is just such a nice view, great way to spend the afternoon, just watching the ships go in and out. I used the washer / dryer once and it worked perfectly, the host was super attentive and texted back directly right away. The check in instructions never came, so ask the host for the wifi info right away. We really enjoyed our stay here I highly recommend staying here.

Nothing short of spectacular!

This place is amazing! Down to the small gestures of home to the amazing views, this home does not disappoint! The home owner was so helpful in ensuring our 4 year old was comfortable by providing an extra bed and a few small toys to keep her busy, it was an unexpected but very welcome gesture after a long day of flights and airport craziness! This home is very clean, well taken care of, comfortable and one of the best VRBOs we've been to (and we've been to many). The home owners were very responsive in messaging us, were helpful and very friendly. As a family with a little one, it was nice to know that our preschooler's noise wasn't a bother to them as they have smaller children as well (and honestly, they were so quiet!). Ohhh one of the best parts of our arrival, other than how easy it was and the beautiful view, was the coffee waiting for us! After arriving late and not having a car rental to grab groceries, having coffee the next morning before getting groceries was perfect. We're not sure if this is the 'norm' but it absolutely made our day! While this home is not in downtown Victoria it's location is fantastic. It's so easy to get around, a quick hop onto the main roads and shopping, including groceries, is just a short 5 min drive away. We were able to walk to the grocery store in 30 min using one of the paths, it was very nice (walking down - walking up the mountain would have been a definite trek!). All in all, we will absolutely go back to this home!

Lovely place

Wonderful accommodations with two large bedrooms and a large bathroom. View is fantastic and the kitchen was fully supplied with any item would need. Location is perfect for Langford and Colwood and only a very short drive to downtown Victoria. Would recommend this place to anyone

Amazing View!

We had a lovely stay at this rental property and our hosts communicated well and were there for us with answers to questions or requests in a timely fashion. The suite was well appointed, comfortable beds and living space. We can’t say enough about the view. It was incredible and we loved to spend time on the deck morning and evening. We will definitely stay again on a return trip.
