Welcome to our nicely furnished 2 bedroom, 1 full bathroom basement suite in Langford.
This suite is located in a quiet zone area.
5 minutes away from downtown Langford
2-minute drive to Costco and all the essential stores
20 minutes away from downtown Victoria.
5-minute walk to the famous Thetis Lake.
The suite has private access beside the house with a large backyard. Parking is available on the driveway.

This was a very nice accommodation. There was plenty of space for the three of us and would be great if you had infants or small children. The location worked well for us.

Our family had a great stay at this suite. It was an ideal home base for to get to Victoria and surroundings by car for our daily vacation activities in the region. The suite was as describe and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were appropriate, and the space worked very well for our family. We appreciated the private entrance and the peaceful neighborhood.One aspect that stood out was communication. From the moment we booked until our arrival, our host responded quickly to our messages and provided clear check-in instructions. Responsiveness made planning our arrival much easier and gave us great peace of mind.

I would highly recommend this place. Host was quick to respond and very kind. The place was clean and had everything you would need in a home away from home with well thought out extras. Great parking and easy access to the home for people who are unsteady on their feet. It was perfect for our 7 day stay and we look forward to staying here again.

We loved staying here. It was cozy, and clean! The location is amazing, close to starbies, and other food places! It’s just a 10 minute walk from a beautiful hiking trail! We will be back again, thank you for the stay!

This place was perfect for our family of 4! Clean and cozy, we arrived earlier than expected and the host was very accommodating and responded immediately. Its within walking distance of all amenities, as well at Thetis lake which has great fishing! My 12yr old was so excited to have caught a good sized small mouth bass! Needless to say we spent alot of time at the lake:) We would definitely stay again!

Great location! Had all the necessities and a great price. Some of the finishes are showing so wear but nothing affects the quality of the stay. Bedding was clean and cotton (what someone with skin sensitivities I appreciated!). Overall just what we need in the location we needed!

It was a handy location for our purposes. The beds were excellent . The driveway was tricky at night additional lights at the top would be much appreciated. The hosts were quick to respond to our messages. It was roomy and bright.

Pros: The location is convenient if you plan to explore both north and south of Victoria. I also appreciated that there were no synthetic fragrance odors in the unit or on the linens, which can be hard to find. Overall, the space was reasonably clean.Cons: The property felt quite worn and overdue for maintenance. There was chipped paint throughout, cupboards and drawers that needed a thorough cleaning inside and out, and spills on the walls that appeared to have been there for some time. The biggest frustration was the lack of basic linens. The unit had six bath towels, one hand towel, and no washcloths. We contacted the host twice to request washcloths, but instead of providing them, we were directed to the washing machine and then to the single hand towel. The issue was never resolved. We also experienced noticeable noise from the unit above.Overall: While the location was a plus, the condition of the property and lack of responsiveness to a simple request made for a disappointing stay. I would only recommend booking this property if you have exhausted other options.

Thanks for the advice. Here are some tips for your future bookings with other hosts. You are living in other people’s house. Not a 5-start hotel, you didn’t pay that much for a high-end living place, so some basic tears and wears are very normal. I misunderstood about the wash clothes in the beginning, thanks for the advice, I will prepare more wash clothes, but I can not believe that 4 extra bath towels couldn’t solve your issue. Last but still important, you are living people’s house. Noise is unstoppable, but we go to upstairs around 9:30~10pm every day, we try not to bother the guests, but your noise did wake us up during the midnight 1am. Now you share your lie about our noise here?! I left you good stars for your future booking, but I really regret it.

Good morning. We really enjoyed our stay in your apartment, especially considering there were beautiful trails for hiking 5 minutes from the property. Thank you. There were a few items that we would like to suggest for your consideration to make future stays even more comfortable. The bedroom with the crib, the mattress is dipping in the middle and was not so comfortable. There were plenty of blankets and pillows, however, there were not enough sheets for 3 people. In the kitchen, it could use a cutting board and a knife sharpener as the knives were not very sharp and kleenex for the bathroom. Also, it was a bit tricky backing into the yard - perhaps consider painting the cement block along the driveway (closest to the house) with caution paint for the driver to see easily.

There were lots of aunts in the kitchen floor and some in the bedroom. The refrigerator and the floor were dirty when we arrived. There was a trash bucket that had no lid and that attracted bugs right next to the entrance door. The space to park is very narrow and does not allow you to turn around to back up so it’s best to park next to the owner’s cars. We always left our car there and walked to the unit. Be prepared to have a flash light at night because the lights have a sensor and won’t turn on until you get closer to the house. The beds were comfortable and the owners responded right away when we told them about the aunts. They came with a spray and

Great location and very comfortable

We stayed at this property for a full week. We had a small problem with the microwave when we first arrived but the homeowner responded quickly and fixed the problem. They were very friendly. We were in Victoria to visit with our daughter and to celebrate our granddaughter's first birthday. It was a most enjoyable trip!!!!!

Cozy Stay

We had a lovely stay in Victoria! The place was conveniently located, not too far from the city center, and the host was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to messages. It’s a great spot for a small family with young children, there were some board games and books available, which was a nice touch. The home could use a little dusting, and the inside of the dishwasher had some mold, so we chose not to use it. Other than that, everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay.Thank you ! Our stay at this property was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the place (being a basement suit) was very cold. Having kids, we had to struggle to find thermostats to warm up the place. It was clear the place had not been cleaned professionally. The floors (especially under coach/furniture) and surfaces felt dirty, and overall the property did not meet basic cleanliness standards.The most concerning issue was that there were ants in the bedroom.The bathroom fan wasn’t working and given that it was the only bathroom, it was not a pleasant experience.The dishwasher was mouldy and it stopped working the second time we used it. When told to the host, they said we don’t know how to use it. Some of the buttons of remote for TV was not working. To make matters worse, we were confronted by the host during checkout in a very rude manner. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the landlord approached us in a very rude and confrontational manner.Overall, between the lack of cleanliness, the ants in the bedrooms, and the unpleasant interaction with the host, this was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend staying here.

This guest has no communication at all and VERY rude! All she could do was complain. For the thermostat, she never mentioned to me at all. They are on the wall for each room, how hard you can not see them? My sofa is really low to the floor, when I clean up, we can not even stick the broom under. And I really don’t know what of person will check the space under the sofa which is almost sitting on the floor. Instead, this guest left a really messy kitchen, dining table, kid high chair with nasty food scraps, I kept all the photos. Thank you for bringing up the issue about the fan, before your check-in, the fan was good, no previous guests reported anything about the fan not working, and we made sure it is working before your arrival. I really don’t know what did you do. For the dishwasher, I don’t know what did you do, but after you left, we turned it on without any issue, I kept a video of it. Same for the TV, both remote controls working perfectly, I don’t know what did you do! Also, I kept a video for it. For the check-out, you are really the worst guests I have ever seen, you passed the checkout time without any notification nor explanation nor sorry to us. When we reminded you politely, you were the rude one, like very rude !!! Now you say we are rude! You are a big liar! A big you “fhank you” for all the mess you left, we spent almost 5 hours to clean up. How dare you being like this? This is how you teach your child?! I don’t recommend any host to accept this guest.

This was a super clean and well maintained place! The listing says sleeps 6. This is to include a couch and a crib. We had 5 in our group. No toddler, so this fit our needs well. But seating is limited. 4 seats at the table and 1 couch that can squeeze 4. So true to the listing, it can sleep 6... but everything else is limited. There is a highchair and baby toys. Plenty of games. Very nice and comfortable place to sleep.

The place is quaint, however - the kitchen utensils were dirty, the window blinds were rusty, the towels smelled musty, there was no instructions regarding the TV and most of the time the remote did not work. The outside patio was not an area you would want to sit in. Yes - I was advised that I would need to back down to the parking but that was treacherous! Would NOT attempt at night. A few bright lights there would be helpful!
