A premier Texas Hill Country experience awaits you at this beautiful 140-acre Pedernales Riverfront property located 1-mile from lively, historic downtown Fredericksburg. Nice Tiny Home!

Overall, very nice Tiny Home and we enjoyed our stay. It has a good functional layout and appointed for our needs over a long weekend. There were three things that kept us from giving 5 stars. These things should be easily solvable. 1. Under the seat cushings of the sofa needed cleaning. We contacted property management and they responded very quickly asking when would be a good time to come by and take care of the situation. We provided times but they never showed up. 2. Water pressure in the shower was super low, frustratingly low. 3. Internet service was spotty. This one could be more about the service provider.

Lovely house

The house was lovely but the location was hard to find and the person that answered the phone number provided was unsure so not able to help very much. We drove around for a while but finally found it. The on-property winery didn’t seem to have our reservation and charged us a very high amount ($160!!) for a charcuterie board and wine tasting.

Beautiful cottage!

We loved the Zion cottage! Very clean and such a cozy space, yet has everything you need. Water pressure / hot water in shower would be the only room for improvement. Overall great place and we enjoyed our stay and The Edge winery very much.

Lovely spot

I could have spent a month at this cottage. It was clean and comfortable and a good amount of greenery around the property. Really nice for a getaway and alone time. The only issues we had were that it was a super hot week and the loft didn’t have its own AC. Also, there isn’t actually a pool on the property, which we didn’t realise. Really could have used one. Otherwise, we had a great time and it’s a really nice place to have a family reunion where everyone has their own cottage.

Weekend Getaway

Super cute little tiny house. Mostly clean but lots of bugs and nests on the outside. Inside was nice and clean. Note: no soap, shampoo, etc. We were close to a Walmart so not difficult to get but every VRBO I’ve ever stayed at has provided the basic necessities and it seems like for the price we paid should at least have soap to wash your hands with. It’s a small investment to make the experience better. Lastly, we did a very short elopement ceremony on our patio. Owner was informed. Our officiant was slightly late and it ran over the 11:00 check out no more than 5 minutes. We were outside having our ceremony, recording it, it was very apparent what was going on and at 11 o’clock on the dot they showed up to clean. We saw them approach and said yes one minute we’re about done here and were rudely responded to. We understood the the check out time, we paid a good amount of money to stay here and it could’ve been handled much better. There were 8 other homes that also needed to be cleaned that a 5 minute grace period and not interrupting the ceremony would have gone over much nicer.

Anniversary Trip

The cottage was perfect! We truly enjoyed sitting out in the nice deck and location was ideal. Close enough to town and all the wineries. The Edge winery on the property is beautiful. We will definitely be rebooking.

Very quant.

Great location in the middle of the wineries to the east and Fredericksburg to the west. Everything was great but the shower. The temperature would not stay constant.

Lovely but lacking

The tiny home had really lovely finishes and was very comfortable overall, but we definitely have some critiques. -No soap was provided in the house at all. This is unacceptable in normal circumstances, but during a pandemic?! Pretty ridiculous. We were forced to make a Wal-Mart run on our vacation for this necessity. Not ideal. -No toiletries or hair dryer were provided. Small bottles of shampoo and body wash should be standard in any lodging, especially one at this price point. -The TV had a busted speaker, and a new unit was replaced for us after two attempt to contact the office. With a brand new property, you would think electronics would be in prime working order. -The Wi-Fi signal was terrible. Even after our TV was replaced, the Wi-Fi was so slow and spotty that we could not use the apps on the smart TV. -There was an abundance of cabinets and great storage in the home. We were notified after booking that there were no dishes, drinking glasses, or silverware on the property. For a town that boasts incredible wines, the lack of wine glasses or even cups was very disappointing. There was a Keurig with a good selection of K-cups and cream/sugar. -Lastly, there are no fewer than a dozen light/fan switches in this tiny home, and labels would have been very helpful, as many switches appeared to do nothing at all. There was no way to turn the back porch light off and it shines brightly into the bedroom all night.

Stayed for my sisters 30th

We stayed 2 nights for my sisters 30th in cabins 8 & 9 - they were both fab!! Good location, clean cottages, hot water and surprisingly spacious for being tiny homes! Make sure to bring soap, pots and pans if you plan on cooking as there was nothing in the cabins except towels and toilet paper. 100% would recommend for parties of all ages!
