Immerse yourself in nature at `Sugar Shack`, a 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin designed for nature lovers looking to experience peacefulness and serenity in the Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake areas of KY. Enjoy the hiking, rock climbing, and fishing opportunities nearby! Featuring large porches, beautiful wooden walkways, peaceful balconies with beautiful views to ensure ultimate relaxation and fun, this home is a splendid retreat for friends and family!

- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee maker, microwave), wood burning stove (located outside near the firepit), mini charcoal grill, WiFi, firepit and more!
- Sleeping Arrangements: Loft: 2 Queen Beds Additional Sleeping: Queen Air Mattress
​​​​​​​- One full bathroom
- We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 bar soaps, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.) You will also need to bring your own firewood and charcoal. Please purchase firewood locally.
- Please note that a 4-wheel drive is recommended. This property does offer a circle driveway for boats/trailers.
- There is camera surveillance on this property. One camera is on the front porch, and one camera is on the back porch facing the back door.
- Secluded location between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake - Close to a multitude of adventuring opportunities!
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival.
- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year’s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Great vacay with my best friend.

This was a great cabin with comfy beds, plenty of supplies-everything we needed to have a lovely time together. We spent most of the daytime hours exploring Natural Bridge and The Gorge, it was pretty perfect.

Wonderful trip

Great place for our visit to Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge. Kristen with Stay over Cabins was professional and extremely helpful. The cabin was clean and comfotable.

Great cozy getaway!

Really cool cozy place with great comfortable beds. Downstairs living room/kitchen area is well thought out with great burly couches and cool decor. They have a record player with a groovy selection of old Motown/ Bossanova vinyl on hand too! Just fantastic!

Quaint and peaceful! We enjoyed our stay. Stairs to the bed room are steep but we are also are not in our 20's anymore. LOL. Also enjoyed being relatively close to the lake. We would make a return trip!

Great weekend escape from the city

Easy rental process and accessibility to red river gorge. Was not able to take advantage of the cool wood stove outside due to weather. Enjoyed our stay and would rent this cabin again.

Nice quiet place.

We only were here for a short time, mainly for a place to sleep and shower. Beds unfortunately are rock hard (which might be good for someone else), I slept on the downstairs couch the second night. Outside of that, cabin was nice.

Wonderful family getaway

This was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in! We booked this cabin last minute for fall break! The cabin was adorable and had everything you could possibly need and more! We wanted to hike at Red River Gorge so we did that during the day and came back for dinner and outside fires after! It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed! Thank you for sharing your space with us!
