Dupont Circle Lux Apt - Sleeps 2, Steps to Metro
Summary:
This gorgeous one bedroom apartment puts you in the heart of Dupont Circle, steps from the Metro. Walk to the Phillips Collection, Embassy Row, Georgetown, the White House, and monuments, then come home to high-end finishes, hotel quality bedding, and a spa style bathroom. Our guests often mention how clean, comfortable, and convenient this apartment feels as a base for work trips and city breaks. We're excited to welcome you!
The Space:
This modern one bedroom, one bathroom apartment has been newly renovated with high quality finishes and comfortable, hotel style bedding, creating a calm retreat in the middle of the city. The separate bedroom is ideal for up to two guests, with a comfortable queen bed and enough storage to unpack and settle in whether you are here for a quick visit or a longer stay.
The fully equipped kitchen (including a nespresso for the perfect brew!) makes it simple to prepare meals or enjoy takeout at home between meetings or museum visits. The spa style bathroom offers a relaxing place to refresh after a day exploring Dupont, downtown, or the nearby museums and monuments.
Just outside the apartment there is a small shared outdoor patio area where you can sit with a coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy a quiet moment away from the buzz of Dupont. The space is set up so that both short and longer stays feel easy and self sufficient.
Guest Access:
Please note the entrance is accessed through the well lit alley at the rear of the property, full access instructions will be given after booking. Apartment is not shared with anyone else. Due to DC regulations, however, some owners must live in the building in order to qualify as a short term rental host. As with many apartment buildings in DC, the upper floors have full time occupants, and there are neighbors to your left. Please be mindful of the fact that noise can travel and this is city living, we like to take care of our neighbors!
The Neighborhood:
You will be in the heart of Dupont Circle, one of DC’s most central and vibrant neighborhoods. There are great restaurants, local bars, coffee shops, pharmacies, and grocery stores all within a short walk, and the Sunday Dupont farmers market at the end of the street is a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
From here you can easily walk or take the Metro to many of DC’s main sights and neighborhoods. Approximate walk times include
- Dupont Circle Metro red line, about 1 minute
- Safeway, about 8 minutes
- CVS Pharmacy, about 4 minutes
- Whole Foods, about 15 minutes
- 14th Street and Logan Circle, about 18 minutes
- Adams Morgan, about 15 minutes
- U Street, about 27 minutes
- White House, about 24 minutes
- Georgetown and the waterfront, about 28 minutes
- National Mall, about 30 minutes
Dupont often feels like DC’s true city center, with tree lined streets, historic architecture, embassies, and a lived in neighborhood feel alongside a wide range of dining and nightlife. Our guests often mention how convenient it is to step out the door and be surrounded by so many options.
Getting Around:
You are only a few hundred feet from Dupont Circle Metro on the red line. This makes it very easy to reach downtown offices, museums, Union Station, and other neighborhoods without a car. The apartment is located just off Connecticut Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue, so buses, rideshares, and walking are all simple options for getting around the DC area.
Parking in Dupont is limited and can be expensive in garages, so many of our guests choose to arrive without a car and rely on Metro, rideshare, or walking during their stay.
