Peaceful and comfy stay

Great Chicago Vacation Spot

This is a superb Chicago vacation condo. It is clean, spacious, and quiet. We walked to breakfast and dinner and took a quick Lyft to Wrigley Field. We will definitely stay there again.

Great place in a convenient location.

Came in town to visit family with my wife and 2 kids. Condo was clean and updated and staff were super friendly. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and public transport. Would definitely recommend.

Cubs trip

We came here with friends who'd one of which hadn't been to Chicago before. The main reason was a Cubs game, but we enjoyed so much more in the city. Location was excellent. The host was awesome, and the folks at the front desk where we checked in, and all subsequent interactions couldn't have been better. A huge shout out to this staff. If you go there, dont miss the opportunity to go to the roof top and enjoy some time there! All in all, I can't recommend this property highly enough!

Boutique hotel in great neighborhood

We had a fantastic stay at this small hotel in the Andersonville neighborhood. The property is beautiful and immaculate with many amenities. The full kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom with glassed-in shower. Apartment has a full size washer and drier (with laundry soap provided) and a balcony. There is a lovely lobby with a library and free coffee. Walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. The bus comes right to the door and there is an L stop within walking distance. Highly recommmend.

Beyond the Best

Had a fabulous stay at the Guesthouse. Relaxed but first class, spacious and comfortable accommodations you don't want to leave; warm and helpful staff with great local recommendations. You can tell they want you to have a great stay at their property. Must be why they are one of Trip Advisor's top 25 small hotels in the country. Convenient to everything Andersonville, we walked everywhere and didn't bother with a car or public transit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Do be aware that part of the charm of the property is that it's a beautifully improved old building, so you will hear footsteps from the rooms overhead. We never heard voices or TVs and there might have been some youngsters overhead, so a couple of times a day we heard a quite a bit of foot traffic. Didn't dampen our experience or enthusiasm for the place. Loved everything about it.

Great Location and Condo!

This was our second visit to The Guest House and it will not be our last. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond. The condos are well laid out and truly have everything you need for your stay. Even laundry detergent and dryer sheets for the in unit laundry. If I had to complain about anything this trip I would say the furniture in the family room looked great but was very very uncomfortable to sit on. I was a little surprised by this. It seems to me this was purchased on line for looks but never tested for comfort. If we do stay again I would not want to stay in that unit again for only that reason. Otherwise everything was perfect! Highly recommend!

Home Away From Home

I stayed for 8 days while my floors where being replaced. My service dog stayed with me. The staff were welcoming and there were dog treats in a bowl by the reception desk. The condo was well maintained, the television had DirectTV and the kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfy and there is a nice deck right off the living room. Honestly, it was like staying at home but with a lobby filled with friendly staff.

Fabulous!!!

We have spent the last 4 years visiting our son in Chicago while he was in college. We have stayed in The Gold Coast & on the north side. This weekend was to celebrate his graduation day! The accommodations were perfect for our family. Very comfortable, clean and cool location. Patio (outstanding view of the Chicago skyline) would have been a wonderful spot to have his friends come for a party if this year wasn’t so crazy. We loved The Guesthouse! Thank you for the experience to all employees we met.

Great place to stay in the city with a group!

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and spacious apartment style unit. It was nice to have common area to hang out & have a kitchen with all of the necessary items to use. Only items that could be improved were quality of mattress, adding room darkening shades (got quite bright in the am!) and easier to get in touch with front desk/host ahead of check-in. Listing doesn't indicate it but you must pay for parking. Overall, nice experience and would definitely highly recommend!

Home away from Home!!!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Excellent location! The staff are super friendly! So neat and clean! Loved the views and the tall ceilings! We were here for a quick trip and will most definitely stay here again!!
