Newly renovated main floor suite in a two unit home with seperate entrances. Well built soundproofing and insulatuon to provide privacy between units. The home is in a quiet, well established neighbourhood. The space is very well appointed with high speed internet and comprehensive cable package. Top end appliances and quality amenities throughout make for a very comfortable stay. Both bedrooms have televisions and access to movie streaming. Relax on one of the 2 decks in the back yard. Minutes from golf courses, skiing and hiking trails, parks, and playgrounds. Parking off street. All amenities provided.

Great place. Clean, nice back yard, nicely decorated. Perfect for our needs.Only complaint, no bath mat.We had to use one of your lovely towels to keep the floor dry.

What a great place to stay!

This property was very clean, was located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, had outstanding amenities, and was in an ideal location in Thunder Bay! We loved the amenities it included, such as streaming and cooking supplies, and we could truly relax and feel like this was a second home for our trip. The host also replied very quickly when I had questions and was very kind with his responses. I would 10/10 recommend this place for anyone looking to stay here in the future and I’m so glad that we booked this place for our visit to Thunder Bay!

Cozy place to stay

Weather was quite cold out, but house (and bed) was warm and cozy. Comfortable furniture too. Also nice and quiet inside the apartment, even though less than a block from a busy street. Seems like a safe and friendly neighborhood from what we could tell.So thankful to have a dog-friendly place to stay. Check out the Gresley “parkette” a block over on the other side of Hodder St. for dog walking.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful extended stay! This property is very modern and really clean. The location is great and the backyard was really enjoyed by our fur baby. It has everything you could possibly need and the Hosts were absolutely great! We will definitely book again! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Felt at home

We stayed here for 2 weeks while we were visiting family that lives in town. We had our two dogs, our baby, and our toddler with us . The unit was spacious for everyone and conveniently located close to everything. The area was safe (it is right by a school) and groceries were walking distance. To note, as we didn’t realize this when booking and it may be important to others, there is no dishwasher and the backyard has no gates so for our dogs they had to stay leashed which meant we had to bring them to the dog park for excercise vs throwing a ball I n the backyard

Reuniting with friends

The house was actually better than the pictures. Very clean had everything we needed and a nice outdoor space to enjoy in the late afternoon with a glass of wine in the beautiful sunshine. Would definitely recommend this and very easy to get to other destinations in town.

SPACIOUS LOCATION

Great space to stay while in Thunder Bay. Spacious, fully equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms, comfy living room, dining room and nice backyard including BBQ. Could even do a load of laundry if needed. Good location to see lots of tourist attractions in the city. Easy to find. Nice walking neighbourhood. Recommended.

Pet friendly oasis

Cute backyard with room for dogs and visitors. The inside clean and well laid out. The host dropped by and is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Best vacation stay that we have had with VRBO

Excellent property! Everything was nice, new, spotlessly clean, and operational. The place was nicely decorated and provided a warm and home-like atmosphere. If you like to make the bulk of your meals at your rental, and we do because we're older and have to watch our sodium intake, this place is for you. The kitchen is very well stocked with just about any kitchen utensil imaginable. There were some cooking supplies available such as olive oil, soy sauce, some spices, coffee pods and tea bags, so that we didn't have to go out and buy them. Outside on the lower deck there is a gas grill available to grill steaks, burgers and brats. This property is in a very quiet residential neighborhood with no loud noises from the surrounding houses or the road. Ed, our host, was very friendly and most helpful in resolving any minor operational concerns that we had with the TV and the dryer (he came right over and showed us how they worked). He also came over on almost a daily basis to do property maintenance (watering grass, flowers, mowing and such). Ed even suggested a wonderful restaurant where we went to have a fantastic 50th wedding anniversary meal! It is obvious that Ed really cares about providing his guests with a positive vacation experience. To summarize, we had a very, very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Thunder Bay and I would recommend this property to anyone. It was great!
