Stunning Four Bedroom Home near the lake

Summary:
We invite you to stay in our spacious four-bedroom home, on a sunny and private section, with great outdoor entertaining. A home away from home, a place to relax and chill and enjoy time with those that matter the most. We created many special memories here and hope that you will create lots of amazing memories here too. The house is super family friendly, private and plenty of space for everyone. The lake is an easy stroll down the hill and the town Centre only a short distance away."

The Space:
Thoughtfully decorated with everything you and the family need for the perfect stay in Taupo. All bedrooms have their own air conditioning to keep you nice and cool through summer and Radiant heating throughout the house to keep you warm and toasty during winter.
Complimentary WIFI.
Complimentary Tea and coffee
We use hire serviced linen to provide our Airbnb guests with high quality linen. All beds are made up with a towel and face cloth provided for each guest. If you require extra towels for the beach or hot pools please bring your own.
This amazing home is suitable for families or couples on a golf, shopping, fishing, skiing or sightseeing trip or just for the perfect getaway.

Guest Access:
PLEASE NOTE – This property is STRICTLY not suitable for parties, events, or loud groups.
The whole home is yours to access and enjoy.
Please note the garage is not available.

The Neighborhood:
This is a very safe and family friendly neighborhood.

Other Things to Note:
Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.

Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.

Great house, nice and quiet

Lovely spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. Our family of 6 was able to spread out a bit after some hotels stays earlier in our trip a d it was great!Enjoyed the enormous kitchen to cook some meals at home.Thank you for your support!

Comfortable and peaceful house

Loved the open plan kitchen and dining space. Big doors fold out on to a big deck and a lovely peaceful garden. House is great for 3 couples. There is a room downstairs for a 4th couple but it is not to the same standard of the other rooms.

Great winter treat

A great location and property for those groups wanting to self cater. Nice big kitchen with adjoining seating area and dining table so those on duty in the kitchen didn’t miss out on socialising! Was awesome having the 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers, made cooking a breeze! 3 bathrooms was much appreciated as was the seperate lounge for those that wanted to read quietly, play board games or watch TV. The central heating ensured the house was lovely and warm for when we arrived and Kerry the host was very responsive. Would be a great house to rent in the summertime to utilise the big outside deck and private garden setting. Only downside was not being able to use the indoor oven grill as it was very chilly using the smaller BBQ outside in the cold.

The house was beautiful and clean, but getting in touch with the host was very difficult and the house is in need of much maintenance. The host sent check-in information via a portal and an email which had conflicting information, and we were only able to get it contact by calling, not by texting nor using the VRBO app. The basement which has a bedroom and living area as well as the laundry smells heavily of mold and the bathroom becomes saturated when using the dryer even with the fan on and windows open. The toilet has a leak and the shower spills water on the floor. The central location of this house and amazing upstairs spaces, especially the kitchen, made up for these shortcomings. But overall we would not stay here again.
