Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Enjoy watching the waves roll in as you sit on this direct beachfront balcony. This unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (The pool is generally heated from March 1 to November 30, weather permitting)) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Reviewer Comments: Great week.We did think the pool was not kept as clean on a daily basis as previous years.We were cleaning debris out with the "net" almost every morning. It was almost like the filter wasn't on or maybe not working at all.Great week....your always polite a responsive.See you next time!

The furniture needs updating and the stove broke during out last few days, but overall it was really nice to stay near the beach and to be able to hear the waves.

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay and loved the location, beach was much less crowded. This unit has a wonderful balcony that some of the others do not. Plenty of room on the inside. The first night we arrived very much a party atmosphere with balloons hanging from the rails, led lights around many doors and windows, many of doors decorated and karaoke on the balcony. The music did stop a little before 10. This was not the case any of the other nights so can’t say if this is common or not. If you are staying for more than a couple of nights you may want to bring extra paper supplies.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Sandpiper for the past 18 or so years. It has always been our happy place. However, upon our arrival this past week, we found the condo in unsatisfactory condition. Front door was covered in a film of what appeared to be sunscreen. My husband had to wash it with hot water as well as all the glass tabletops which were dirty and sticky and had not been cleaned. Empty water bottle on top of refrigerator. Appliances were dirty (stove top, oven and refrigerator had to be wiped down before use) and the double recliner in the living room was broken. Upholstery on kitchen chairs and living room furniture was stained. TV remote and kitchen clock were not working. Our bare feet were black with dirt from the condo floor. Attention to detail was obviously not a priority! The Sandpiper complex itself needs updating. Grounds in general were not up to par. Outside door light was burned out. Trash cans in grill area were overflowing, creating trash on the ground. Door mats were laying in the mulch on the lower level and there were bags of linens and toilet paper left outside a condo all week. Pool area was not maintained as there was never anyone on site to oversee the complex and stay on top of matters. We had to wash off the mobile carts before use as you could not put your groceries or personal belongings on them. Considering the weekly rental rates, I am sad to say we will be looking for other rental locations in the future. The view from the condo was great and our beach time was perfect but the Sandpiper needs much improvement! Many great memories made here over the years but it’s time to move on!

The Sandpiper is a small complex, you're able to meet friendly people throughout the week. Unit 16C has a magnificent view of the beach and ocean. We sit on the balcony in the morning and watch dolphins swim past and watch the moon rise in the evening. Have already booked for next year!

Right on the beach, nice pool and small (only 3 levels). This year we were in 16C which is on the end and has beachside view. It was nice to have coffee on our personal deck overlooking the Gulf each morning.

It is the perfect location, an unobstructed view up and down the coast. We see dolphins every day. The condo is beautifully decorated. Already looking forward to the summer of 2024.
