Excellent Stay!

Perfect place to hang out and enjoy great weather with a large group, plenty of comfortable sleeping area, quick walk to Peegeo's, close to downtown TC. Accommodations and location were great!

Rented for our annual lake trip and it was amazing. Location was great, had 2 grills so you got to choose between charcoal and gas, morning coffee on the lake was so relaxing, and my nephew loved fishing on the lake everyday. House was comfortable and everything we needed. May need to book now for next year!

Snowmobile trip in Traverse City

Perfect location for our snowmobile trip! The house had plenty of space for the 5 of us. Great amenities, comfortable beds. The heated driveway was very smart for descending the hill. We will be renting this house again next year for sure!

Family gathering

Easy check-in/check-out. Very comfortable home. Lovely scenery… deer, geese, lake, woods. Close to town. Everyone had a great time!

Better Than The Conference Hotel

We stayed here during a conference at a Grand Traverse, 10 of us (adults) and there was plenty of room. The lake was beautiful, many extras grill, pots pans, paper towels, salt pepper, cooking spray etc. Was super functional! Also plenty of places to sit relax. Highly recommend.

Prefect Family Retreat

Communication prior to stay was great. Everything was as expected. Plenty of space for our 4 small families. Love the bunk room. It was such a joy to sit by the water, go fishing on the kayak, and watch the kids play. Nothing like a cup of coffee overlooking the water. We had a small question about the sliding door lock, and they were quick to check it out and resolve our concerns. Check out process was the easiest I have encountered with a VRBO. Highly recommend!!

Lake Tibbet

Overall property was great. Lake is not really swimable; very weedy. Paddle boat was broken. Inside wass enough room for everyone and relatively clean.

Beautiful home

We had an amazing stay. Even though there was a fruit fly infestation, the house is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for a large group. We were 11 women and everyone had enough space. We used the kayak and the firepit! The deck and two living rooms were great for gathering! Only other opportunity for improvement would be bed comfortability. Not the comfiest. Would stay again though.

Review

The house was overall a nice experience, the driveway scared most of the girls, very steep 😂. A couple things weren’t cleaned when I checked in. I wish the rooms had ceiling fans of some box fans. You can hear everything. If you are planning a trip bring a fan or two! Location was good, 15 mins from downtown TC, a very good pizza place like 2 mins away!

Great if you can Handle the Hillside Location and Steep Driveway

My wife, family and I stayed here for 12 days surrounding our daughter's wedding. The home was spacious and comfortable for the 10 adults and 2 dogs that we had. The view over the lake is beautiful. The location is very quiet. I had no trouble taking the dogs for good walks in the area. Though not a problem for anyone in our family, just be aware that the home is on a hillside with a pretty steep driveway (intimidating at first). Also, you need to take a number of steps down to the lake. As long as you have good knees and hips, I highly recommend this home.

Not as expected

It was really nice to have a place that was private and near the water. The pictures online made the place appear newer and more clean than it really was. The place was not terrible, but was way overpriced for what was advertised. We also got double charged with getting vrbo accidental damage protection, then charged a fee for the same thing from the owners. We did appreciate the owners opening up their home, and if it had been half the cost that we paid and the pictures more representative of what the place was, the review would be more positive.

Host was very responsive. Location and amenities were great! Kids had amazing fishing and boating. Sand to play in for little ones. We all had a lot of relaxation time. Very comfortable. With cool Michigan weather, would have liked a hot tub option. Saw a duck family, a baby and mama deer, a friendly chipmunk, black squirrels, lots of birds and an eagle! Highly recommend and would stay again!

Just what I was looking for. Everything was good for the stay. Only thing is the driveway is very steep but there is parking at the top if you had a boat like we did.
