Mother's Day in NODA

Visiting with my granddaughter a few blocks from this house. Perfect and Robert arranged for us to have an early arrival at 1pm. The house is clean and comfortable.

Perfect spot in a great neighborhood!

We were in CLT for the weekend to celebrate a birthday, and this was a great location and very comfortable house for us to stay in with my fiance's parents. The neighborhood is vibrant, walkable, and good fun. Worth noting, if you are looking for absolute quiet for sleeping, this is 1 block from a busy weekend nightlife area, so the sound of live music and some light hubbub is audible from the back of the house, though not the bedrooms. We slept really well - the beds are fantastic - and had a great time. If we come back to CLT anytime soon, we'll definitely look at booking here first.

Perfect Location

One street over from a ton of great restaurants and bars, this was the perfect set up for us. It was actually a lot more spacious than it looked in the pictures and had everything we needed from a coffee maker to an iron.

Long family weekend getaway

Highly recommend

We love the NoDa house as this was our 2nd stay. The restaurants and neighborhood is great. So many places to walk to for food and entertainment. The house is equipped with everything you need to include the fire pit with wood which we enjoyed. Beds are very comfortable as well. Highly recommend.

Medical therapy

We stayed at Roberts house so my son could receive medical therapy over the course of several days. He is wheelchair bound so sometimes it is difficult getting in/out of the house. The patio in the back made it easy to transport and load into the car. Showers have handheld features which made life easier. The neighbors are so nice and restaurants were so good!

Charming house in great neighborhood

We stayed here as a family of 4. 2 adults & 2 kids. The house was clean, nicely stocked kitchen, and the backyard space with fire pit was great! The house is in a quiet transitional neighborhood. We were able to walk to get coffee in the mornings and enjoyed walking to dinner each night.

Stay Last Weekend

Our stay at this house in NoDa this past weekend was acceptable but not amazing. Although most of the house was in good order, there were a few small things we wanted to mention for future travelers. First, there is no body wash or shampoo, so be sure to bring your own. This was not mentioned in the description of the house. Second, the bed in the master bedroom is rather rickety and does not provide a good night’s sleep. When two people are sleeping in the bed, anytime one person moves it cause the entire bed frame to shift and wakes up the other person. The connections of the frame are not securely put together. We attempted to use the bed, but had to move into the other bedroom in the middle of the night due to its poor condition. All the provided pillows are super thick as well, so please bring your own if your prefer a thinner pillow. This is just personal preference and did not factor into my review. Lastly, we could not find the remote control for the fan in the second bedroom. We let the owner know about each concern, but have not heard back from them after about a week. Perhaps they got their money and didn’t feel a need to respond. None of these issues were huge problems separately. However, we felt it necessary to mention these issues here for other people who might be considering this house, especially at a rate of around $250-$300/night.

Sweet little home, great neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the NoDa house. The house was well equipped for the two of us and the bed was comfortable. The home is walking distance to so many cool shops and restaurants. There were signs in the vicinity of the home protesting short term vacation rentals, but we didn't encounter any problems from the neighbors. We'd definitely stay here again!

Very comfy home in perfect location

We were very comfortable in this home that has the perfect blend of history and modern convenience. We had some questions at check in and Bob was very responsive and helped us out quickly. So many restaurants and shops within walking distance, we loved exploring the neighborhood. About 18 mins from UNC Charlotte campus. We’re very likely to stay again.

One of the showers doesn't appear to have hot water and the huge pillows on my bed were not my favorite but it's a lovely little house in an incredible neighborhood at a reasonable price.

Great NODA visit

This historic home was very conveniently located in the NODA neighborhood. It is also within walking distance of the light rail which we rode to the south end bars and restaurants.

Amazing place and neighborhood

Great historical area and the house is very nice. Loved the decor and it was equipped with everything you would need. Very nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hopefully we will plan another trip here as our time was short and I wished we could see more.
