The main "great room" boasts extensive windows to take advantage of the 12' ceilings in the front of the cottage. The well-appointed kitchen features a 12' island, 48" gas range, and a 72" fridge/freezer, adding to the feel of staying in a truly great space. There is no parking, gate, or admission on the side entrance, so when you enter here, you are entering a much less crowded area with more space to enjoy. Port Elgin is just 12 minutes away, where you can take advantage of the many restaurants, shopping, or spend a day enjoying ice cream and fries on the public beach. Beautiful Southampton is just another 10 minutes up the road if small beach towns are your thing.
There are also a couple of km of uninhabited water front that are perfect for a completely secluded waterfront walk.
