No host on site We communicated everything through the management team EVOLVE They were very helpful. Bunk bed sheets had black hair on it and smelled of body lotion, had to wash before using. More lighting needed in parking area. Comfortable cottage .Quiet & close to downtown. Beautiful patio We would stay here again

Quiet Convenience

The stay at this listing is conveniently close to a lot of the hikes you want to do, as well as downtown Sedona! Everything was less than a 10 minute drive. Kitchen is equipped with most things except for spices (S&P only). Keurig may need to be descaled before using but there were coffee pods available! I enjoyed the bath amenities available, and there were plenty of towels for use. We also had access to laundry and detergent if we needed to get any red dust off our belongings before heading home. Remote entry so easy check in after a long day of travel, just make sure you pick the right unit! Stars are also beautiful to enjoy from the patio.

Clean, but not as advertised

The property is not as advertised. The description and pictures didn’t match the actual property. The unit is attached to another upstairs unit and shares property with thr main house. The windows are painted shut in the living area. This area is only 10x10 is very tiny. The refrigerator is nice and new but the ice make and water in the refrigerator are not hooked up. The bathroom is the only room of significant size. The shower is nice but takes forever to heat up. The property sits next to a street and a day care, with 2 parking lots on either side. It’s not as remote as the pictures let on. The mediation rock garden sits a few feet from the street and parking lot. The unit was clean and functional. Lauren the property manager was very responsive with us. Overall we felt the description and pictures were not a true depiction of the accrual property. The property has potential, just feel the description needs to be more accurate of the actual place.

Good Stay

This place worked well for our family of 5. The previous reviews were accurate so we knew what to expect. Shower took long to heat up, etc. the kitchen was great and had what we need to make meals at home. The place was clean and had good access to the main hwy in Sedona.

Great location! Overall cleanliness could use some work

Our overall experience was great, but there were a few things to note. First, we opened the sleeper sofa and it looked as if the sheets had not been changed. The top bunk bed comforter had a stain on it so it looked as though that had not been cleaned either. The broken bed mentioned in a previous comment had not been fixed. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty and covered in a white film. We loved the location and overall had a good experience other than the notes mentioned above.

Not great

Hit a few hiccups: there was no ladder for the bunk bed and we had children who couldn't safely get up and down, the tables are sticky when we got there so I wiped them down, the bed frame for the primary bedroom was giving out so every time we laid down the bed made a loud crack and gave a little bit. The guest contant Lauren was fantastic at remaining in contact while trying to resolve these issues which was a nice consolation. It didn't work out, but ultimately the location is convenient and has all the amenities you'd need. The owners just need to do some upkeep.

Great location and tranquil

Great location, quiete area close to trails, parks and downtown Sedona. And nice shared outdoor spaces. The downside was there were a few things missing in the kitchen and communication wasn't good. I took to long to get responses from the host.

Great location but... door didn't lock for first 4 nights.

Great location. Close to hiking trailheads and a few minutes from downtown. Communication was initially good and we even worked with them to extend our stay a few days so that was very nice. We arrived after dark and check-in went fine. The next morning when we attempted to leave for the day the door wouldn't lock because the deadbolt wasn't lined up right. We attempted to contact the owner but went to voicemail. After messing with the door for 10 minutes we got it to partially engage and left for the day. We tried multiple times to contact the owner and eventually got ahold of someone but they were out of town and had very little reception. We explained the problem, and they said someone would be out to fix it. That afternoon we returned to find our door ajar and not even in the latch. Obviously we were a bit upset. A little while later,a cleaning lady came down. She said she thought she was supposed to clean it but then saw our stuff. Why she left the door ajar is beyond me. The next morning the door still wasn't fixed. (Yes we slept with the door not being able to lock) we contacted them again about the door not locking. Again they said someone would be out. Again we returned to find it still not able to lock. More attempts to contact them, Same thing over and over each day. Each day we had to take our valuables with us as the door didn't lock. Finally after sending videos of the lock erroring out, on the 4th day a handy man came to fix it. Didn't feel safe for 4 nights.
