Family reunion

This is a tremendous property, it had everything we desired and some. We had a slight hiccup when we arrived on Friday night, but the owners were there in about 30 minutes to straighten it out.It’s a convenient location, not immediately within the hustle and bustle of Pleasure Pier, but short drive away.I would recommend over and over.

Our extended family rents a beach house in Galveston every summer. We have rented a different house every year, but we are planning to come back to this house if available for 2026!

Lovely Property But Lacks Quality Necessities

We loved the location and layout of the beach house. The beach was perfect. However, the location lacked decent toilet paper, sufficient towels for a 14 person house, and extra blankets.

Absolute worst stay ever.

The AC went out our first night there. 85 and 87% humidity inside. We notified the owner at 8 AM the following morning, were strung along all day by the management company, Evolve, when we could have moved to a new location. The AC repair people came late morning to diagnose the issue and arrived with the part at 7 PM, and after working for an hour and a half or unable to fix the issue until the following day. We had to vacate our 14 guests for the night with zero compensation, and returned the next day to get the rest of our things and receive the repair people. The AC was repaired in the afternoon of our last day, and we chose to spend the night and leave on schedule.Dealing with the owner, the management team Evolve, and VRBO sucked up a significant portion of my vacation. VRBO insisted I provide proof of AC repair, and proof that I had paid for the reservation in full. I was contacted by a new person with the Evolve team for every conversation. The owner had to be harassed into providing an arrival window for the service people, put meeting the servicemen on me, and would not pay in a timely manner, causing the service people to arrive late. After getting the repair finished and the issue resolved, no offer was made to reimburse us for any amount of our stay. I reached out to the owner who said they would be working on it with the Evolve team. I sent emails to Evolve and VRBO. Crickets from all parties. Stay far far away from this house and Evolve.

We had the most incredible stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views, the clean and beautifully decorated interior, and the overall attention to detail throughout the property. The house was exactly as described—if not better—and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and stress-free vacation.Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee on the deck was an absolute dream. The location is ideal—just steps from the beach yet private enough to feel like our own little slice of paradise. The host was responsive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun family getaway, this beach house checks all the boxes. Great Get-together House

We had a group of 14 friends stay here following a school event. The house layout was perfect for our needs and was immaculately clean and well-stocked. Communication was smooth and efficient. The best part was being able to see the water from the house and just a two minute walk to the beach.

Moms with high school kids for the weekend

Sadly weather did not cooperate , property is very nicely decorated , clean, good beach location , you can see beach from house . All bedrooms except one on entrance level , kitchen living and one bedroom upstairs , would definitely stay again .

Great Family Meeting Place

Our family had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the close proximity to the beach, the big windows facing the ocean, the well stocked kitchen, the extra snacks they provided, the variety of children's books and games, and the modern interior design, furnishings and decor. We would all enjoy coming back to stay again in the future.

No Access

The online pictures of the property were not representative of the actual property. There is no direct access to the beach adjacent to the house as described. The bridge was blocked with overgrown vegetation and garbage strewn all along the side of the blocked bridge. The adjacent access was the main reason I chose this property. We cancelled upon arrival and scrambled to find a new location for our family of 10 with another beach house rental company

Several of the outlets didn't work in the bedrooms & bathrooms, the lift didn't work even though the property says it's "wheelchair accessible". We have a child in a wheelchair and that was a reason we booked the house, wouldn't recommend for anyone who can't trek up tons of stairs.

Fun Family Getaway

We had 3 generations staying in the house. It was a perfect arrangement for young boys in the bunk room, parents and grandparents in nice rooms with ensuites. We loved the beach access right at the property. We went down several times a day. The living area and kitchen were great to gather, cook, and play games at the same time. The outdoor shower was very much appreciated after the beach. We appreciated the beach items we could use out of the garage along with the grill. The views from the balconies were great and they were another place to gather and enjoy the sound of the waves. We plan to return to this property next year.
