Nice quiet, secluded getaway close to the mountains, state parks, and hiking. The location was ideal as a halfway point between outdoors activities and "civilization". My wife and I spent most of our time out and about with our 10lb dog...2 days of nature and 2 in the city and towns nearby. We prepared and cooked most of our meals at the house. The kitchen had most everything we needed. We did bring our mini Keurig and a new camping (propane) grill (we grill a lot). R4hi

Perfect for family and pets

Our family stayed here for a short little vacation and had a blast. The house looks just like the pictures and the fenced in area of the yard was great for the dogs. There is also a doggy door, which I didn’t realize when booking but we loved having it. Its just a short drive to devils fork state park. We rented a pontoon for a day ao the whole family could be on the lake together. We also took a john boat with us and had no trouble parking at the house. The drive way if definitely a little hill but anyone who has experience pulling a boat before shouldn't have a problem. The market at the mill is also just down the road about 8 minutes so if you a like a flea market its a great place to go. We also had oizza delivered from Main Street pizzaria and it was great. Walmart will also delivere groceries to the house. Overall the house was just as expected and in a very convenient location. I would definitely rent again.

Great place for a family.

Everything was as described. We didnt need anything while we were there. We loved the fenced in yard and LOVED the fact they had kids plates and cups. Most places we stay only have glass plates and having a bunch of small kids, kids plates are important. Can't wait to go back.

Cottage

This property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very quiet setting. Easy access to grocery stores and food choices. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again. Excellent communication with our hosts.

Perfect location

The location was outstanding. So much to do in 1 1/4 hr radius. The home was roomy and clean. Shower pressure was great and beds were comfy. Fenced in yard was a plus. Kitchen was supplied well. I do work remotely and had to use the dining room table which the kitchen and dining room have a draft so it did get cold. Management did supply us with 2 portable heaters but the heat just did not stay consistant. I would sstill stay here in warmer weather.weather.

Perfect Place for a Long Stay

I had the pleasure of staying in the Pickens vacation rental for about a month this Fall. The house was immaculately clean and perfect for what I needed for me, my spouse, and two dogs. Kitchen and bathroom were well-appointed, beds were comfy, and everything was fresh, updated, and very stylish. Would highly recommend! Owners couldn't have been nicer, and the whole rental process went smooth and was well organized. Really impressed by everything.

Perfect Place in Pickens

We stayed here while we dropped our daughter off at college. Adorable, clean place that was super comfortable. Close to anything you would need. Host was 100% helpful whenever we needed anything. Would stay there again and would highly recommend.

Lost in the mountains

The home was very nice, had everything you needed for a quiet getaway. Streaming service provided something to do when it rained. Would recommend this to anyone trying to get away for a few days. We enjoyed the banjo fest, If you are into hiking there are plenty of places to do this. Pickens is a small town with not much to do but Greenville is only 20-25 minutes away. Greenville is a must see. If you Have a dog the back yard is small and fenced ,we didn’t feel,safe walking on the,road in front of the home.

Perfect house for a weekend away with children!

This was the perfect place for us to take our three children until 7 for two nights. We were able to check in earlier than the stated check-in time which was amazing. Such good communication with the owners - they even gave us a list of attractions and restaurants in the area which was so helpful. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Family ‘reunited’

Meeting up with son after 6 years apart. (lives in Pickens now) Met my 2 grand babies for the first time. My WHOLE immediate family together again, such sweet memories. Mom (me), Dad, Daughter, 2 sons, 2 Grandsons, Grandma, and Grand Pa.

Had a great stay at this spacious cottage. Carefully and thoughtfully appointed with lots of details. Wonderful front deck that faces the creek - great for morning coffee or evening under the stars. Fantastic for a dogs - lovely high fenced back yard and even dog bowls. Would definitely stay again if in the area - quick drive to Table Rock and all the wonderful hiking trails.

Peaceful mountain retreat

This quaint cottage was a true mountain retreat. The home had been recently remodeled and the decor was absolutely adorable! The home was surrounded by hills and trees and was close to a beautiful stream. The back & side yard were fenced which was great for our dog. The house was equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We were amazed at the internet speed and had no issues at all. We also really enjoyed downtown Greenville which was about 25 minutes away. If you’re looking for peace & quiet, you will find it in this lovely home.

Pickens home away from home

We are originally from area and return several times a year to visit family & friend's. We usually stay in hotels but our dog sitter was not available this weekend and I found this little gem on VRBO..dog friendly...and very close to family in Marietta & Travelers Rest. PEACEFUL neighborhood, excellent back yard for pets, owners have thought of every need especially for folks traveling with their pets down to things to cover the furniture in case your pet joins you on it. Large paved driveway. Closet comfortable mattress to our home mattress of anywhere we have ever stayed. If coming to area it is definitely a must see in person...too many positives to list...highly recommend.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

We were pleasantly surprised just how darling this home was! There were personal touches throughout the house, and those little things made us feel right at home immediately. The owners were kind and caring to our needs and left us information about local areas to visit. The personal note, along with the gift was an added bonus!! There are two large bedrooms with king-size beds (very comfy), and these rooms have ample room to move around. I am a cook, so I loved the kitchen and items available for me to use, which made food preparation simple. We had a lovely experience with our family and will certainly keep this place in mind for a future visit!

Weekend stay

This property was perfect for our family of 5 plus 3 dogs. The hosts had everything we needed for our stay! We are from Ohio but we hope to stay there again as this trip was to visit North Greenville University, where our son will be going to school. The property was so quiet and the dogs loved the convenience of the doggie door.
