==> PROPERTY DESCRIPTION <==
Along the beachfront in Cayman Kai is where you will find a newly-renovated and refurnished villa, aptly named Fantasea.

This spacious 2-bedroom main villa with a detached 1-bedroom guest cottage has undergone a complete makeover, both inside and out. Plus, the villa's recently upgraded fiber internet connection provides reliable speeds for work-from-home professionals, as well as reliable streaming options.

The renovation included 100% new tile, windows, furniture, kitchen, baths, and high-grade stainless appliances. With multiple large sliding glass doors to the screened veranda and pool deck, guests are never far from views of the water.

A new freshwater pool and tiled deck are elevated for privacy and to take advantage of the sun setting directly over Cayman Kai Cove. Ample deck furniture, an outdoor shower, screened veranda, and an outdoor kitchen, complete with a propane grill and Green Egg grill, make for easy-island living.

The spacious open-concept great room links the living area, dining area, and kitchen with breakfast counter seating and a built-in table with banquette seats.

Sliding glass doors provide seamless indoor/outdoor living allowing you to open the great room to the outdoors. Quality furnishing and decor have been used throughout the property for an elegant and contemporary feel.

***Sleeping Arrangements***
(Sleeps 8 Guests total; 6 Adults max)
-- North Suite - king bed, water views, cable television, walk-out access to the screened veranda, ensuite with double vanity, shower, and bathtub.
-- South Suite - two sets of twin-over-queen bunk beds, water views, cable television, walk-out access to the screened veranda, and ensuite with shower.
-- Guest Cottage - detached from the main villa with private entry, queen bed, water views, SmartTV, beverage bar, dresser, ensuite with shower.

The cove water is shallow with a soft bottom, so recreational swimming and snorkeling are best enjoyed up the street at the Rum Point Club, just a 5-minute walk north. There you will also find watersport activities from wave runners to guided dives, plus a restaurant, beach bar & grill, and a gift shop.

Combined with its central location on the Cayman Kai peninsula, walkable to water activities, family-friendly restaurants, and laid-back beach bars, this island getaway is sure to become a guest favorite.

A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.

For rental cars, we recommend Avis, Marshalls, or Hertz.

Cayman Ferries operates daily water taxis departing from the Kaibo Marina to Camana Bay. Perfect for day trips to Seven Mile Beach or shopping excursions at Camana Bay.

Download their app to purchase your tickets in advance. Just be sure to make it back for the return voyage across the sound!

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products. Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.

Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. We try our best to work around mother nature.

Outstanding Property!
This property was everything we hoped it would be for our family of 5 (2 teenagers, one 7 year old). We took the kayaks and paddle boards out on the cove every day, lounged in the pool, and enjoyed one of the most spectacular views in the entire Caribbean. Starfish Point and Rum Point are reachable by kayak or short car ride, and you can book excursions from Rum Point easily. The rental management company was prompt, friendly, and efficient -- we took full advantage of the free snorkel gear, bluetooth speakers, and beverage cooler. They also give you a discount card to be used at several local vendors. If you're not familiar with the Cayman Kai section of Grand Cayman, it is a quiet, laid-back area of expensive vacation homes and spectacular scenery. It's a bit of a drive from the main town, and the nearest full-service shopping center is a good 30 minutes away. But if you want to avoid the cruise ship crowds and action of Seven Mile Beach, you can't beat this area. The worst part about staying here was having to leave!

Wonder private getaway! The house has everything you need!
The house is the perfect island getaway. It’s on the East end of the island away from the crowded cruise ship area. We spent lots of time on the deck & screen porch watching the water. You can actually see the boats gather at Sting ray city from the porch. There are several great restaurants at that end too. But the house has everything you need to cook at home too. It took us a while to get a recommendation but a local finally told us we could purchase fresh fish & lobster tails from Over the edge restaurant. We ate at that restaurant a couple of times too. Excellent food & service. Starfish point right around the corner. We took the 3 person kayak out for a spin around the cove. There are quite a few jellyfish that are photo synthesizing in the water that you have to be careful of if you decide to snorkel there. But Rum point offers another good alternative to snorkel that’s very close to the house. The rental agency recommended downloading the app to use when you get there. It’s got great info and directions to the house. I highly recommend taking screen shots of the directions to the house, as the app did not work for us unless we were on Wi-Fi. Luckily we remember enough and followed the signs and maps we got from the rental car place to get us there. Their office was still under construction so we didn’t get to utilize that upon arrival. We would highly recommend this house and will be back again.

Perfect place to get away from the world
This property was exactly what it was like in the computer the pictures and everything we had a wonderful time we had so much fun with the pool and the screened in patio and the location was perfect I definitely would go back there again
