Unique Home - great location

I was in the area to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Grand Mesa and Kebler Pass and this unique, comfortable home was the perfect location.The hosts are super sweet and accommodating. I think the best thing is the fact that the house sites next to a mountain stream, which fills the house with the sound of running water, as well as the beautiful grove aspens that fill the back yard. Lastly, I feel I must share the family of Mule deer that visited each morning and evening. A true gem!

Spacious home with great covered outdoors space for relaxation. Very well-equipped kitchen, pantry, bathrooms -- everything you need is here! Easy access to the Grand Mesa for hiking, leaf-peeping, and fishing. Highly recommend this property!

Beds are super comfy, host is friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was warm and inviting (my favorite), and the creek running just outside the windows was peaceful. We look forward to booking again next year.

A beautiful place. Happen to meet thr owners and they were kind people. The castle is so cool. Everything shocked inside for cooking and relaxing. We'll be back for sure.

Our host, Cheryl met us on arrival and was sincerely very welcoming. This property has a terrific history! The property is located on a rushing mountain creek mere feet from the home’s back door! The rushing water makes for a great night’s sleep in combination with very comfortable beds. This property is exceptionally clean and well cared for. It’s kitchen eating area makes for perfect mealtime conversation. If you’re looking for a spacious, comfortable, and convenient stay near the Grand Mesa, be sure to book this home. Beautiful, peaceful home

We stayed over the July 4th holiday. The home was festively decorated. We were able to bring our dog with us too and that was a bonus. We spent the days on the Grand Mesa and our evenings relaxing by Kiser Creek which runs next to the home. We used the outdoor grill. My only complaint is that the back yard patio furniture is uncomfortable. I felt as if I was going to fall through the chairs. They look good but the design is flawed. We had a wonderful time sitting on the side porch watching the hummingbirds flit around the feeders. I will definitely go back to this property.

Nice home on the edge of Grand Mesa!

This home was very cute, well furnished, and comfortable for our stay. It's located 3-4 miles from Cedaredge, and only a couple of miles from Grand Mesa, so it was super convenient to access the lakes and hiking up on the Mesa. Overall great experience!

Outstanding!

This beautiful rustic home has been completely upgraded with new kitchen and bathroom appliances, new carpeting, new windows, and everything you could want. The kitchen and bathrooms, fresh towels, lots of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, they even decked it out with red white and blue decorations for Memorial Day weekend. The place was perfect. We have no complaints. The only thing lacking was an ice cream scoop!

Magical Cedaredge Castle stay

This unique house is truly one of a kind. It was built by the family who still own it and was created and decorated with care and love. It was very comfortable and I appreciated the quality of the bed, shower, and kitchen which was well stocked. The charming aspects of the castle included my favorite room, the round breakfast nook in the turret, the tongue and groove aspen high A frame type ceiling, and the homey Western vibe and art. The setting was exceptional - I fell asleep to the sound of Kiser Creek running through the yard, which had an an aspen grove out back, and the view out over the valley was amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. The castle is just a few miles from Cedaredge, a great small town, and the top of the 10,000 feet Grand Mesa. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. This is a great place to stay.

Weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay here with our two dogs. The location is great, with easy access to Cedaredge and Delta as well as skiing and snowshoeing on the mesa. This would be a great house for a large group of friends or family and is set up well to accommodate that. We will definitely be back!

Cedaredge Castle House is a must see!

This cute place is a hidden gem with so many lovely features. Quiet, serene, beautiful yet close to everything you need to see in the area. My only complaint is that we had a problem with the microwave on the first day. We notified Evolve, who said they would call the owners right away. Three days later, we actually met the owners, Forest and Cheryl (who were great, by the way) and they said they had never heard from Evolve. Forest brought us a new microwave right away, problem solved - no thanks to Evolve! The bed was fantastic, kitchen fully appointed, the stream outside made for restful sleep and the sunsets were amazing!We highly recommend this cute place near the Grand Mesa and will certainly be back ourselves.

Great place, view of stream behind house and north side is amazing. Nice patio with roof and fire pit in back buy stream. Is awesome. Nice kitchen with communities furnished. Nice baths with plenty of hot water. Pictures in house are amazing. Very nice furniture great mattresses. Owners are wonderful people & very kind to all of us. Only thing some of my friends would have liked AC but I was fine nice & cool at night. Sound of stream was nice. At nite. Would stay there again.

Great stay!!

My cousins and I rented this cabin for a weekend retreat of fishing and hanging in the Mesa. We couldn’t have been happier, this please exceeded our expectations. There is a fire pit and grill which I don’t think is listed in the listing. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

Fantastic Home with Even Better Hosts

We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and this was one of the best we’ve rented. The home was well stocked and comfortably furnished. The hosts ensured there was plenty of linens, paper goods (tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, etc), and kitchen necessities. One of the nicest features of the home was the rushing stream on the property. We stayed in July and enjoyed opening the windows at night so we could fall asleep to the sound. The hosts were super attentive and helpful. They checked in on us when we first arrived at be sure we had everything we needed. They checked in a few more times throughout our stay and were available to answer a couple questions we had. They even left a thoughtful gift of some popsicles for my daughters as a surprise one evening. We would highly recommend if you are traveling in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful Property With Beautiful View

My family and i LOVED this property. If you enjoy the sounds of nature while you sleep, or fishing, or hiking, or looking outside to a beautiful view, THIS is the place for you. I'm not sure what we loved more, the house itself or the property surrounding it. I tossed my kids outside to go explore and they were in HEAVEN, while i sat on the back patio and enjoyed the view and listening to the stream. The ONLY down side is that the property doesn't have A/C and we stayed at the hottest part of the season. That being said, the fans worked, and only at one point did we get even a little bit warm. The rest of the time it was PERFECT. We will be staying here again as I have family in the area.

Beautiful home in fantastic location

We were staying in Cedaredge to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the Grand Mesa Lakes. This home is at the perfect location in between! The home has a local history as the Castle House, and it was built by hand by the owners’ family. The living area in back has a fantastic lounging area next to a beautiful stream with quaking aspens giving shade. SO RELAXING The home was comfortable, with wonderfully relaxing beds, and everything you could want is supplied in the kitchen and living areas. I. I was not happy with Evolve, did not get timely check in/out information, but they did give me the code when I called the help number.
