Located in Powderhorn Ski Resort and just down the hill from the ski lifts and world class nordic ski trails on the world's largest flattop mountain, the Grand Mesa. With over 300 lakes; hiking, snowmobile adventures and mountain biking there is something for everyone! Enjoy this three bedroom (1 in loft), 2 bath and 2 kitchen genuine log cabin with a wrap around porch. The views and sunsets from the porch are spectacular. Or, cozy up next to the firepit on the patio below. The cabin is well stocked with the essentials, making your trip planning easy and stress free. We have wildlife and wildflowers galore. In the early summer the cabin comes to life with a carpet of blue flax flowers. Enjoy the hummingbirds, chipmunks, deer, fox and the occasional black bear from this quintessential Colorado destination.

My name is Shay and I look forward to being your host. My goal is provide a clean and well stocked cabin to all our guests so they have a great experience and can focus on having fun and making memories. I grew up on a working cattle ranch in Western Colorado. I am a private pilot and forensic therapist. I married my high school sweet heart, Bobby and we have one son, Logan. We currently live in Collbran, just 20 minutes from the cabin.

Our cabin offers complete privacy with options to rent the space you need without paying for unnecessary space. Rent the lower unit (1 full bed) upper unit (2 queen beds) or entire cabin (3 beds). Rest assured that no other guests will be on the property during your reservation. I must add that the wrap around porch is pretty spectacular for sunset dinners and views of the valley.
