Little Joe Cosy Warburton Cottage

Little Joe Cottage is a cosy cottage retreat with spectacular views of Mount Little Joe and located a short drive to Warburton township. Perfect for couples, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch or watch the sunset with a nice glass of local wine.

Cosy and comfortable is what your stay at Little Joe Cottage will be, with a comfy queen bed in the main bedroom and a king single bed with study desk in the second bedroom. Keeping you toasty warm in the winter months is a wood heater in the living area, there is also a split system heating and cooling for comfort all year round. Little Joe Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen perfect for self catering and a Weber Q barbecue on the front porch for outdoor dining. Relaxing with a good book in the gardens is the perfect way to spend a lovely spring afternoon.

Located just one hour from Melbourne, Warburton and the Yarra Valley offers an abundance of things to do and see. Strolling along the Warburton Rail Trail, watching the ducks paddling along the famous Yarra River or a visit to Mt Donna Buang summit, just to name a few.

Ensure you visit local wineries and farm gates for local produce and wines to enjoy during your stay, or of course there are many cafes and restaurants to visit, offering both great food and hospitality. Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend away or something a little more adventure Warburton is definitely the place to be!

Very cute place. Really appreciated how well it was stocked for cooking and hiw much space there was, also a beautiful deck. It is up a very steep hill, but right next to a wondeful forest and nice walks.

Gorgeous mountain views, well-stocked kitchen and lovely fireplace. The cottage was very clean and in a great location, just a quick drive to the town centre.

The house was nice, nestled away up close to the mountains. Lots Crimson Rosellas and other birds about!Was great on our last day we had 15 King parrots on the balcony and they were even brave enough to eat parrot seed mix from our hands! Was our first time seeing them... So was very special to see them up so close.Great little place with a reasonably well equipped kitchen too.

Great location

Quiet retreat for relaxing

We enjoyed the location—away from the crowds and still accessible. The bird life was fantastic. The wood stove provided warm atmosphere after a day of biking and hiking. We’ll definitely be back.

Beaut cottage. Warm, cozy and comfortable. Very clean. Everything we needed. Plenty of firewood provided too. Great view of Little Joey Mountain from kitchen, dining and deck. Perfect for dad and daughter.

Wonderful Warburton

Sussex Street is a cosy, well-appointed cottage with a fabulous view from the deck. My friend and I enjoyed a delightful few days there while exploring the Warburton area. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Excellent property. Great amenities, kitchen, pantry etc, large shower recess great for anyone needing to use a shower chair. Lovely views from deck. Recommended.

Rest and recharge

Thank you for a wonderful cottage to relax and recoup. The place was cozy and welcoming and all comfort needs were met. The view from the balcony was magical with beautiful native birds joining us. Looking forward to booking again.

Short stay in beautiful Warburton

Very comfortable, everything you need in a home stay, pantry had essentials and kitchen very well stocked with crockery and appliances. Bed comfortable, lots of streaming options on TV. The only thing I could fault was shower needs soap holder.

Comfortable Cottage - Beautiful Views

The cottage is thoughtfully provisioned with wood for the fire, bathroom and kitchen essentials and more. The views are beautiful and birdlife plentiful. The cleanliness is very much appreciated and totally understand why slippers are requested to be worn indoors. The location is quiet but close enough to walk, down the hill to the river and into town along the Yarra Trail. Thank you for a lovely winter escape!

Honestly the most beautiful summer place to be!

Incredibly gorgeous spot within the heart of Warburton, up the hill where we’d hear kookaburras, cockatoos and Maggie’s every morning! Beautiful homely space with a warming atmosphere that made us feel so welcomed and so comfortable!! Extremely well presented and delightful home, very clean and equipped with everything we needed!! The speakers, bbq and even Netflix was such a lovely bonus!Stayed here with my partner, my younger sister and her friend as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the home cooking, eating outside, option to bbq and plenty of entertainment for the young ones who either opted for Netflix or scrapbooking, playing boardgames while we adults cooked:) The drive up was not too difficult and we recommend reversing into the driveway for easier access to leave. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood so we really appreciated this as we wanted a peaceful countryside getaway. Communication between us and the Stayz/Landlord has been so excellent!! And we really appreciate all the help in making our stay a comfortable and memorable time!!
