Family Vacation

The town of Ouray is absolutely beautiful. This hike is right on the river and only a 1 mile walk into town.This was a great vacation for our family at this very nice home.

Great property and Great Value!

This is a great little property and was very clean and up to date. The location great and just down the road from downtown and the hot springs. We went on some amazing hikes in the surrounding wilderness and in town as well. We had such a great experience that we are already planning on returning to this same property.

Excellent Property for multiple families or couples

We stayed here with our two adult children and spouses. It was a great base for all of our various activities. We enjoyed walking the river path daily and walked to town often. We loved the 3 king size bedrooms with individual bathrooms. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed for five nights in this new construction home which was comfortably furnished! The view from this place is great, is near several trails, right on the river, and is in a convenient location relative to amenities in town. Loved that each room had its own bathroom and king size bed. Smart TVs are located in the living room and primary bedroom. Starter supplies such as dish soap, laundry detergent and paper towels were provided. This rental did not have the consumable kitchen start up supplies you see in some rentals such as left over spices (not even salt & pepper), foil, food storage containers/ plastic bags, etc. I had read this in old reviews and hoped the owner would take notice, but it appears not. We would definitely stay here again, but would be prepared with more cooking supplies!

Loved Ouray!

The house was perfect for multiple couples. It was like the pictures and the location on the river was great. Quick drive to town. We loved visiting Ouray and would rent this house again. Only recommendation is to purchase dishes for the house and upgrade pillows.

Great location, missing a few staples

Clean, spacious home next to the river, and walking distance along river path to hot springs & town. Kitchen & bathrooms could be better stocked with staples like paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, bath soap, hair conditioner & glassware.

Spacious Getaway

Perfect home for an adult getaway. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The views from the back patio are beautiful. Nice walking trail through property. Close to all the action!! The property manager was amazing. We reached out with a small problem later at night. He call back within 10 minutes and everything was fixed the next morning. Highly recommend!!

Nice Place, but with a few improvements it could be a Great Place.

It a great place for Ouray where 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms plus another half bath is needed. Let me say I have booked numerous VRBOs in the area and was surprised at the lack of easy amenities that would have made us more comfortable. For about $1000 investment, this place could be a 5 Star place. The Good\Great: - Very new construction - Lots of common space - Nice room and bathroom sizes. - Pictures are true and accurate. - Clean, but a few window ledges had dead bugs lying in them in the main living room. - Parking for about 3-4 vehicle The needs improvement: - Beds were too low- need additional bases for the frames - The silverware so cheap and small- like a kids camp set. - Only one style of glasses (tall)- no smaller glasses for mixed drinks - The toilet paper- you can literally see through it. This is a big miss for guest. - No soaps, conditioners, shampoos. - Only one set of towels provided. - Mixed lighting- warm white relaxing, mixed with bright white in lamps- just so easy to fix to make it all invitingly warm. - No welcome pack or notes on property, etc. A single sheet that has been pen marked through. - Only one roll of paper towels. - No parking in garage (notified by owner on drive by), even though no mention of that in listing or instruction sheet. All of these are easily correctable and I hope that these improvements will give the owner more pride and the clients a better experience.
