Gorgeous seaside stay, all the verandah seating you could imagine, views galore, home away from home, comfortable and conducive to, just relaxing !!!

Spectacular view and a beautiful cottage

On the edge cottage is exactly what it promised to be. The views were spectacular and the cottage had everything that we needed. It felt so comfortable and homie while still having all the feel of a luxury place.We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic views

It was perfect, amazing view, we got to see dolphins and even a whale, the fireplace was great too. Kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Judy was lovely to communicate with also.

Wonderful location

Just a fabulous location and fantastic to hear the surf rolling in as you sleep. Wonderfully kitted out with all that you could need and the surrounding areas are worth a fossick. Judy’s communication was excellent.

Outstanding place!

What can we say about from 'wow' this place is so stunning, not only the view but the cottage is so cute has everything you need and more. If we could give this place 6 stars we would! Judy was great with check-in details and great commination from start to finish.. overall experience for a weekend away was 10/10.

The view is amazing

This was our second visit to On the Edge & we will be returning. The property is spacious & very comfortable with all the amenities you need for a great vacation - comfy bed, great bath, fireplace & an uninterrupted view of the ocean.

Breathtaking views.

We had a delightful stay. Had a wonderful sleep in an extremely comfortable King Size bed with the melodic crashing sounds of the ocean. The beach house was well appointed with artistic decor pieces. Would love to return again +++++

Breathtakingly Spectacular

This absolute cliff front cottage boasts the most stunning ocean views of any property I’ve have visited. Together with the modern furnishings inclusive of the fully equipped kitchen, we chose to remain in the cottage for our entire weekend. The warm & efficient hospitality of our host was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

The listing doesn't do justice to this place - the house is even more spacious, the views are even more spectacular, the facilities even better set up for enjoyment - than appears in the photos and description. We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic cottage with uninterrupted ocean views

Had a great time staying here and the cottage was clean, comfortable and beautifully presented as in the photos. Could have gone for energetic walks along the coastline or down to Coalcliff beach but it was too good spending time on the private deck enjoying the spectacular views!!. Left totally relaxed. Will definitely be back!

Lovely little Clift top cottage.

All as described and great location for exploring the area. Fantastic uninterrupted views out to sea. Very private and well equiped. Lots of little lights and candles so you can create quite a pleasant ambiance at night. Great entertainment systems and wifi. The entrance to the property is a bit tricky and watch out for the “mean” curb on exit. Unfortunately the garage is not available which would have been nice and we would have bought a different car if it had been. Quite a few steps down to the property so the property is not suited to those that might struggle with them. There is a single double bed and a sofa bed in the lounge. Probably not suited for those with adventurous kids, the end of the garden has an open fence and then it’s the cliff. Highly recommended and we loved staying here.

It was just perfect.

We stayed 9 wonderful nights and enjoyed the accommodations. I was a bit confused with finding the key to enter the cottage, and quickly called Judy. She was there in less than 10 minutes to assist. This is such a great location, not only for the fabulous views and outside decks to eat and lounge while doing so, but for also using public transportation (train stations minutes across from the residence) to travel to Sydney Central and other locations--which we also did while having a rental car. Definitely stop to pick up any grocery or other items before arriving. There are plenty of kitchenware and cookware to accommodate cooking your own meals. Comfy king-size bed and nice shower! Good layout of the cottage. If not your plan, you may just be tempted to just stay put in the cottage to soak in that wonderful view, constant sounds of the sea, Seabreezes, and submittal to sheer relaxation it brings. If that and more is what you're looking for, On the Edge Coalcliff will do. Note: there are a number of steps to get down to the cottage entrance. I would also recommend updating instructions to get on wi-fi (password is case sensitive), include in information book on table more public transportation use information, include a full wardrobe use (lots of blankets and other linen took up a lot of space).

Fabulous location and experience

Spectacular view. House very well equipped and had all the comforts just like home. It was very clean and fresh in appearance. My only suggestion would be to let people know there is only 1 car space on the premises. Apart from that I can't wait to return to The Edge

Great Views

The property worked very well and was very comfortable - the views were spectacular. The block is very steep - so we felt a bit uncomfortable navigation our way down. Definitely not child friendly we totally enjoyed our stay

Relaxing break

Highly recommend a stay at On the Edge. The location is private & quiet, the view is stunning, the fireplace is cosy & the bed is very comfortable. It is only a short drive for some great food options & we even saw a show at the Anita Theatre in Thirroul.

Views privacy and relaxation

Came for the views and the sound of the sea... wow! Comfy bed, fantastic shower, all the mod cons. Private, quiet and the views! Easy and quick communication with owner. Didn't want to leave. Thanks Judy.

Absolute bliss

This is our second stay at coalcliff and that in itself means this place is a gem. Breathtaking beach views and a well furnished deck meant we spent most of our two days outside, soaking up the great weather. We had everything we could ever need, except more time to stay at this little paradise.
