We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was beyond our expectations—very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully laid out. It was perfect for two separate families traveling together, including adult kids, with plenty of room and privacy for everyone.The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy for us to prepare fantastic meals and enjoy time together as a group. We especially loved spending time by the pool and the beach which was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The selection of pool and beach toys was amazing The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive, making the entire stay smooth and stress-free. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this property, especially for families vacationing together.

Aqua blue villa .. “We found paradise!!”I have to say after spending a week in this home , Im lost for words … it was truly awesome .From start to finish on our luxury vacation was 5 star … the linens the furniture and the beds were all on point …The turquoise Water, the soft sand ,, it felt like our own private beach.. For the kids, if they weren’t swimming in the ocean, they were in the pool or playing pickle ball it was nice keeping them busy .The house manager Darlyne was great and available if needed .. She helped organized Chefs , boat tours , massages and anything else we needed, ohh and grocery delivery that is a definite must…! I also have to say the Bahamian people to be so kind and helpful when we were out and about touring On a side note we did read all reviews and found one that caught our eye … after chatting with the home owner “Chris” we felt assured our stay would be on point and it was .. we are so happy we choose Aqua Blue …We highly recommend it and will be back next year .. Thanks again Darlyne and chris !

Pest control is poor. Bugs and ants in the kitchen and bathrooms.Hair on linen in 2 of the 4 four beds used. Didn't check other 2 bedrooms. The hoop out front was down which is not a deal breaker really but still you gotta live up to the billing if you are advertising those amenities. Host and the local manager did not check to make sure one of the most important amenities (pool heater) was functional. No communication about the repairs unless I asked. For the last 3 days not a word about it since I didn't ask. Excuses after excuses. Every issue I brought up was minimized. The manager Darlene on our arrival tour killed a live bug right in front of me inside the house and laughed it off. I understand things won't be perfect always but the way the issues were laughed off and even the host saying the pool temp was fine is truly unacceptable. Kids tolerate temps differently. I had to explain myself several times to no avail.This is not a two thousand dollars a night villa. The family didn't enjoy the stay at all. Unfortunate because it is a beautiful location outdoors otherwise. Wish the flights weren't filled or I would have checked out earlier.

Blue Aqua was excellent - perfect location, beautiful private beach, great pool and accommodations. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was fully loaded with all essentials. Darlene, the house manager, was easily accessible before and during our stay. We would all highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay. House was new, spotless, beautifully decorated, and centrally located. House has amazing pool and overlooks beach. Although we went to many nearby beaches each day we enjoyed our beach and pool at house each evening! We would book this properly again without hesitation! Aqua Blue Villa was absolutely perfect for our group of 12 (6 couples)! With a big kitchen, living room and bedrooms, everyone had plenty of room. It's centrally located on the island and only 10 minutes from the airport. We used Chef Angie and Chef Tahj, who were both phenomenal. I would highly recommend staying here!

Aqua Blue

The house is beautiful and the view and the beach is simply breathtaking. We have been on over 25 family vacations and nothing compares to the beach in Exuma. Additionally, the decor of the house plus the quality of the furnishings dishes etc. is first class. Some of the sports watching people in our group were disappointed that there was no Direct TV or ESPN. As it was summer and no football it wasn't a major problem. We did have a problem with the grill not working. The butane tank was replaced, after several calls, but the grill never did work. Also, we got the impression there was someone living in the basement, which is fine, but we would have appreciated a way to lock the door between the basement and the main floor. Finally, the housekeepers arrived before 10 o'clock, checkout was 11, and started clearing out rooms etc. as we were trying to get organized to leave. We found this to be intrusive - if an earlier checkout time was necessary, we could have abided by that had we been informed. Overall - a great vacation.

Dream vacation at Aqua Blue

We stayed at Aqua Blue for 9 days in April 2025 - we were blown away and were so sad to leave. We had 15 people - 8 adults and 7 kids ranging in age from 7-11. We are an active group who wanted to explore Exuma but also have plenty to do at our home base.Aqua Blue was perfect for us. The property is set up is a tropical playground - pickleball court, basketball, ping pong out front, a safe road for running/walking with ocean views, and, in back, a brilliant deck set up with plenty of shade and sun, seating, a pool bar, and a flawless (heated) infinity pool. Then you walk right down to a gorgeous beach with crystal clear water. During our stay the ocean water ranged from calm to windy/wavy... which the kids and adults loved. On the calmer days we snorkled in the reefs right off shore where we saw a big variety of reef fish and lobsters, kayaked, and paddle boarded. On the windy days, we boogie boarded and played in the waves. The villa is equipped with all the gear and toys for everyone to enjoy the beach and pool (we did bring our own snorkel gear, but there was some at the villa). Now to the inside of the house - it was beautifully decorated with wonderful views, huge comon area and a well equipped kitchen, and the ideal bedroom and bathroom set up for our group. Plenty of beach towels, bath towels, beach bags, and all the little details were thought of. While the villa seems worlds away from everything, it's actually very close to the airport, grocery stores, and restauran

Family Getaway

Wow!! It’s a 10 for stunning beauty and accommodations. Our check in time was delayed a little due to the prior guests checking out late and leaving the house a mess. But the staff worked hard to get it ready. The house manager was very kind and helpful. We did have a little surprise when the pool guy arrived unannounced and the maintenance man shut off water to the house to power wash the pickleball court - but these were very minor and easily handled. (I am a frequent visitor to a resort in Jamaica and things happen.!) The house is very well appointed with thoughtfully chosen touches, including a plethora of dishes, utensils, drink ware, artwork, beautiful books, games, pool toys, towels… most importantly the beds were so comfortable. The wi-fi worked great. We did have a little surprise when the pool guy arrived unannounced and the maintenance man shut off water to the house to power wash the pickleball court - but these were very minor and easily handled. (I am a frequent visitor to a resort in Jamaica and things happen!). I really cannot recommend this place highly enough. We has 7 adults and 4 children. It never felt crowded. There were dining spots for all. All in all it was stunning and we would all come back.

Fantastic Family Vacation in paradise

We spent a week at Aqua Blue with our 5 adult children (23-31) and our grand daughter (8). The house was literally perfect. We felt like we were in paradise from the moment we arrived. The beach is stunning, views of the perfectly blue ocean can be seen from nearly every part of the house. Though we did leave the Villa to explore everything Exuma has to offer, we always enjoyed getting back and enjoying the pool, the beach and the waves. Just sitting and watching the waves crashing, listening to their sound was perfect. We highly recommend the at home massages. They were well priced and wonderfully relaxing, completed outside with the waves crashing in the distance. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. As an added plus, It seems that everyone on the island knows each other and everyone was so friendly and kind, providing us with taxi drivers, delivery food options, grocery options, exciursion….everything! We had a private chef dinner with Blessed Hands and the food was delicious. The husband and wife duo were friendly and gave us recommendations for a karaoke night and fun restaurants. The first thing we plan to do upon our return home, is book another week here!

3 Generations of Beach Bliss

As a travel writer, I've seen & stayed in some gorgeous places but Aqua Blue Villa ranks right at the top. The pictures don't do it justice. Inside, nothing was spared. I've never seen a rental home so well-supplied with towels, kitchenware, laundry supplies. Furnishings & art were beautiful, yet comfortable. Each bath has its own monogrammed towels & branded toiletries. With 3 littles, we loved the single story and the bedroom layout was perfect. Beds super comfortable, & big cotton throws to snuggle under on the porches at night or in the morning watching the sunrise. And that beach. It is near-private; only 2 other homes have access to it and we rarely saw anyone else. We enjoyed all the pool and beach toys including boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas, pool floats, and snorkle gear. The reef is just a few feet off the beach, where we saw lobster, barracuda, tons of fish and a sea turtle. We also liked the location, outside the busyness of Georgetown but central to both GT shops and boat rental, and to CocoPlum and other great beaches. Darlene, house manager, stocked the house with groceries before we arrived & met us at the airport to lead us to the house. This home was 5-Star in every aspect, and we're already planning our return visit!

Slice of heaven

It's hard to beat Aqua Blue. The home is gorgeous, very clean, and well equipped for a fabulous time on the island. The kitchen is well stocked and there are countless towels - both bath and beach/ pool. We loved the interior decor as well as the outdoor living area and swim up tiki bar. I can't think of a single thing that would improve Aqua Blue! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Family reunion

Our family was absolutely thrilled with our stay at Aqua Blue! The home was better than the pictures depicted and well appointed. New Years 24/25

This property is beautiful and is centrally located for easily enjoying the entire island. We had a group of 11 people - 4 adults and 7 children ages 8-18. There was plenty of space for all of us - we even left 1 bedroom untouched. Property has everything you need to enjoy the beach & island. Property has heated chlorine pool, fully stocked kitchen, stocked bathrooms, extra pillows and blankets, stocked laundry room, pool toys, beach toys, paddle boards, kayaks, dozens of beach towels, tote bags for the beach, beach chairs, yeti cooler, games and cards . . . You don’t need to bring much with you to enjoy this house. The cherry on top is the property manager Darlene. She prepares the house specifically for you before you arrive. She did our grocery shopping, made restaurant reservations, organized the private chef, promptly answered any questions we had about things to do and where to go for more fun. This was the perfect stay for our group of 11’s first time in Exuma and Bahamas!Things to note: this house is in a residential area on a rough, unpaved road. You definitely need a rental car, nothing is within easy walking distance (this didn’t bother us but if you are looking to walk to local places you will be disappointed).It is not uncommon for the power to go out at least once during your stay on any island - this house does have a generator that will power the necessary appliances and electrical in the house but does not power the pool pump, pool heater or tiki hut.

Christmas Vacation 2024

Aqua Blue is an incredible home with all the amenities you could ask for… paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, infinity pool…. Our family takes a Christmas trip every year to different places around the world and this was one of our favorite trips. Chris, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. He gave us suggestions on great restaurants to dine, private chef, boating trips and what to see and do on the island! The house manager, Darlyne, met us at the airport and took us to the house, showed us where everything was located and was so helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. She even goes to the grocery, before arrival, to have your refrigerator stocked with all your requests! Can’t say enough positive things about Chris and Darlyne! The house has everything and is impeccable! We had a week of paradise!! We will come again!!

Thanksgiving Stay

Aqua Blue is a beautifully appointed home that supplies everything you need. Darlene, the house manager, is outstanding. She quickly responded to every question and request before our arrival and during our stay. Chef Tahj cooked amazing dinners for us in our own kitchen. And everyone’s favorite day was a boat excursion with Antonio Johnsen from Brown’s Marina, set up for us by Darlene.

Perfect house!

Rarely do VRBO listings exceed expectations: This is one of them! The pictures do not do the house justice. The staff was awesome. We did not want anything during the entire stay. We plan to be back!

Amazing property!

we had a group of 20 and stayed at this home and the one next door (Beau Soliel). We loved this house so much! It was well designed for a big group of friends with bathrooms and the laundry room easily accessible. We received both an early check in and a late check out with absolutely no hassle. The house manger was so accommodating and even met us at the airport. The furnishings, accessories and everything about the house is top notch. It was our favorite of the two homes for all of the above reasons. We're already planning a trip back!

Excellent Property

The house was just as described. It had tons of extras as well that made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool and beach areas were stocked with toys, floats, and plenty of snorkeling gear. The adults enjoy the extra drink fridge and bar tools. Beds, bedding were amazingly comfortable. House easily accommodated at group of 12.

Family vacation in paradise!

My family of 9 (adult kids and infant) loved staying at Aqua Blue. The house is incredible and even more beautiful than in the pictures. We had a few issues (the TV remote did not work in the living room, the wifi didn't work the first couple of days and one of the pickleball paddles was broken) but everything was fixed during our stay and the owner was very nice and sent us lunch one day for all the troubles. Chris, the owner, was very responsive and answered all my questions prior to our arrival. Darlene was extremely helpful before and during our stay. My family loves to cook and the kitchen had everything we could have asked for! We had Chef Gavin Nottage (gavin_nottage2000@yahoo.com) cook for us one night and I highly recommend him. We loved the open area of the kitchen, living room and dining room where you can always see the ocean and have the feeling of being outside. The pickleball court and the basketball area was a big hit. Thank you Chris and Sarah for sharing your beautiful home with us.
